Hotel Hillside Hideaway

Overall experience is good due to kind and friendly nature of hotel owner and staff. Rooms were well maintained and, we can visit lot of nearby histrionic and prominent places from this hotel.

I stayed there for two days and it was a good hotel for me. The behavior of the hotel staff was good. A good view can be seen from outside the hotel. The hotel was very neat and clean. I will suggest my friends to stay here if they are going to Ooty....

very nice stay..the rooms are very clean and the view is awesome. the stay doesn't provide food so you need to go to the nearby market for food and the main market is just a minute away by walk. The owner and the caretaker were very helpful

Very accommodating staff. Both the owner and the manager of the hotel are very caring and attentive. Central location, close to the central bus stand but quiet at night. The only downside is the steep street leading to the hotel which is being used as a public toilet by men day and night. As a solo travelling woman both the smell as well as passing by the men made me feel uncomfortable. It's probably nothing the hotel can do about but the city would need to address.

You have to go through a narrow road that smells of urine to reach the hotel. The staff members are very rude. They seem to be focused only on "families"

Stayed there for 2 days The room was small but neat.Toilet was also neat . The boy who was in charge was very helpful. We were exploring the tourist attractions nearby ,all day and needed room for only taking rest at night. For that purpose the hotel was sufficient. The only problem we faced was the steep and narrow road leading to the hotel and limited parking space
