My name is hari, and i stayed here on 26, 27 and 28 The place is really nice, away from crowd. 3 of us came here with intention of roaming around ooty, but as we stayed in the estate. Our intentions changed. We just wanted to chill and relax in the beautiful surroundings. Our caretaker 'Jose' has the best hospitality and will attend to your requests, would recommend a stay. One warning is to always close your door, or else insects and frogs will enter into the room.

Extremely pleasant stay with lovable host, I stayed here with my family over the last weekend and we loved being in mid of nature between tea's, jungle and kind hearted FarmKamp team. I also wanted to highlight that myself and the host team had a worst experience with MakeMyTrip on booking this place as they didn't inform the host about my booking. I would suggest to go with AirBnB or even directly speaking with Mr. Ashok who is kind hearted and ready to support at any time. I would definitely recommend this place to stay if you wanna be away from your work stuffs and spend a good nature time. Do not miss to meet Mr. Rajan as well there who would be always ready to help you on all your asks. Thank you so much once again team.

Farmkamp: A Slice of Paradise in Gudalur My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Farmkamp during our summer vacation, and I can't express how magical our experience was. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in warmth and hospitality. Home-Cooked Delights - The heart of any memorable stay is undoubtedly the food, and Farmkamp exceeded our expectations. The staff prepared delicious home-cooked meals that tasted like they were straight from our mom's kitchen. Whether it was piping hot dosas for breakfast or rice and curries, every bite felt like a warm hug. Early Morning Drives - Ashok, our gracious host, took us on early morning drives through the nearby forests. The mist-kissed landscapes, the play of sunlight on dew-covered leaves, and glimpses of wildlife left us in awe. Ashok's passion for the region was contagious, and we learned so much about the local flora and fauna. A Home Away from Home - But what truly sets Farmkamp apart is the sense of belonging. It wasn't just a place to stay; it felt like our own family house. Ashok's warm conversations, the laughter shared , and the genuine care extended by the staff--we felt like cherished guests, not mere visitors. Verdict: Unforgettable In a world where hurried vacations often leave us craving more, Farmkamp stands out as a sanctuary of tranquility. If you're seeking a slice of paradise in Gudalur, look no further. We left with our hearts full, promising to return soon. Thank you, Farmkamp, for creating memories that will forever be etched in our hearts.

Around 4 kms from Gudalore town, is the FarmKamp (Kumaragiri Estates) tucked in between the hills of lower Nilgiris. It is well connected from Sultanbathery/Wayanadu direction, Bandipur/Mudulamalai direction and from Gudalore town. Since we came from Wayanadu direction, we were asked to take the left at Moonaam mile junction after crossing Devarshola townhsip. (this junction is around 4 kms before Gudalore). The village road which is intersecting with the main road known as Moonam Mile is easy to miss. We had to come back after realizing that we missed it. While in that road we asked for the Nambalakottai Temple, and everyone knows it, and then we called Joseph chettan (care-taker), and he came to guide us from there in his mo-bike. After around 2 kms, we took a mud road and last leg of around 500 meters. I like to take my vehicle through these soft off-roading terrains and loved this drive too. ||||There are four cottages in total, newly constructed, neat with all basic amenities. We booked the one on the upper side of the hill which has a large verandah from where you can view the tea plantations and the distant mountains in the Mudumalai / Masinagudi forest range. The two other cottages near to the entrance also has balcony to chill out. The property is built in an estate mainly covered with tea plants overlooking a valley. There are areca nut & ginger grown among others. I could not explore the estate completely as our stay there was only for a night. Thought of taking a walk in the morning, but woke up late after the peaceful sleep. ||||Now about the food that the host (Joseph chettan's wife) prepared was truly amazing. Prior to our arrival, they checked with us about the menu that needs to be prepared for the dinner, and I ordered the local Kerala favorites. The dinner reached our cottage as early as 6.45PM. Kappa, fish curry (meen vattichathu), fish fry, Kerala style beef fry and chappati for kids. The climate was cool, had a peaceful sleep, woke up in the morning and left the facility at 6.45AM after having the black tea and headed to the Mudumalai safari at Theppakadu which is around 16 kms away.||||Do not expect the facilities of a regular resort, but this is a calm property more like a home stay in the midst of a farm land; a cool, peaceful stay to take rest and relax. The food is the highlight and do not miss the Kerala specialties. Joseph chettan and wife who are originally from Kerala can make the best Kerala food items. Food can also be ordered from restaurants in Gudalore town which the farm people delivers it to you. ||||A very relaxing stay, ought to come back again.

A great experience in the cold Nilgiris|This is one heck of a stay, if you are interested in enjoying a calm and quiet getaway from the cities. Me and my friends had a great party at this place - the owner and staff are chilled out, and the cook made some amazing Kerala food, especially non-veg items..|The view is great...of the Nilgiri tea estates on one side and the Mudumalai jungle on the other.. They also arranged a small trek in the evening followed by a campfire..it was a great experience out there in the cold! We could even hear the growls of some tigers later in the night!!|It was truly a great experience, I would definitely recommend if you are going as a friends group.

This is an amazing farmhouse near to masinagudi. This is an isolated stay with two rooms, a hall and a balcony overlooking the beautiful tea estate. The facilities are excellent and place is mind numbingly calm and beautiful. The hosts are very welcoming. If you need a private place to chill in masinagudi, especially during monsoons, this is it. Custom food will be cooked for you but might feel slightly expensive depending on budget. There is a small view point near by which offers 360 degree views of different places in the three states. It's magical. There is very weak or no network coverage. The nearest town is about 3 kms away which is Gudalur where everything is available. It's hardly an hour drive away from ooty.

Amazing Farm house located near Masinagudi precisely close to Gudalur. Stay is inside plantation and you will get best view from the homestay, place is spacious and very well maintained, they would cook what you ask for and it was very tasty. If you need to explore the unexplored it would be the best place to visit. -Vish
