There was a retirement event for cooperative bank manager in near by Genguvarpatti village...so we had rooms alloted here by event organizers. This is located in a beautiful place at the base of kodai hills. Rooms were good but had dust all over it. From what I heard this was constructed for sale of villas but then converted to retirement homes for elderly people after the villa project was discontinued. There is a lil canteen, we had tea and coffee which was mid and breakfast was idly, dosa and poori which was good. Always double check the doors before going to sleep as there are scorpions all over this place. I don't know abt the rent of this place but we stayed for 2 days for the retirement event. Morning walk is blissful here.

Worst place to plan for a vacation. Please don't get mesmerised by the location, review and images. Truth is, it is a place built for old retired couples. Some who are not staying there rent the villas but the service is very very poor. Food is awful. More than that this is an unsafe place after 6 PM as there are no visible boundary walls. After 6 pm if you wish to walk, then you would end up walking in a very dark isolated place close to mountains. You will feel scared. I even took the car and searched for a restaurant in that dark world.

Great place for a peaceful vacation without breaking your bank! The place is strategically located right at the foothill of Kodaikanal giving a scenic view early morning and late evening. The staffs are friendly and polite. Food option available are limited if you're a pure "non-vegetarian". The place is basically a retirement home so you need to be cautious on how you're spending your time without disturbing the people who are permanent residents there.

Really great experience here. Very polite staff. Facilities and services are good. Neatness is good. View from here is just awesome. Climate was awesome. Value for money. Booked via OYO. completely satisfied. No covered parking. But it's okay. Very secure place. Plan two day stay else may not be able to cover all spots. Nearly 40 KMs Away from Kodaikanal.

Serene beautiful place surrounded by mountains . very green landscape all around. Villas are beautifully designed mostly for sr.citizens / retired people .live comfortably without any household chores of life .SR citizen friendly designs everywhere. Good emergency clinic fully equipped serves for the community .indoor games yoga centre walkway are all there .without any problem sr.citizens can spend their twilight period happily .

First and foremost, this is not a resort, this is a township for retired people, in short, s retirement community villas at Hill side.. The property is located just below the kodai hills, enormous property and beautiful views but worst maintenance and exorbitant pricing. The individual villas are designed so well with private parking and garden but all fittings are broken, unclean towels and bed sheets.. Housekeeping doesn't exist.. No intercom to call reception.. The big minus is food.. It's standard menu limited options and u have to ask again and again and again if u need more and they will think twice before brining it to ur table.. Any non veg u need to order 3 hrs in advance and it's a small potion with a cost of 5 star hotel menu. I booked two villas, one 1bhk(5000) and one 2bhk(6500) villas.. It cost me a fortune. The 3 times veg food tea coffee was included in package but since their service and food options were poor we skipped couple of meals and had food outside. They are very curt abt pricing and charged a hefty amount as extras for non veg.. Just 3 items rs. 1200 Though telling them multiple times that food was part of package, they gave 7000 as food bill for 4 meals for 5 members. . I literally laughed seeing that.. For the food they provided charging 7000 extra.. They told me they are giving me 1000 discount too.. Then I had to prove to then its part of tariff and turn they reversed it.. What an insult who paid 24000 for two days for rooms alone for this mediocre place Please avoid at any cost.. You can enjoy much better services in the resorts in Kodaikanal fir a lesser price... Zero star rating...

A beautiful country indeed. Thoughtful attention to detail has been put in. The roads needs some maintenance, the club and other facilities haven't opened yet. Ideal for people looking to invest in their retirement.

Very beautiful and serene place. Very peaceful and close-to-nature. Since close to nature too many insects. Place is good for old retired folks but who are rich and have sufficient saved up money. Overall great place to holiday but permanent stay might be a little too costly.
