Good and update hotel by lemon tree hotels

Heartening to see the once a leading hotel beating even Hotel Oxford around 2010ish...Used to be a good & hotel and center location too for a peaceful stay with good number of trees proving cool shades to rest a while after having good meal in the restaurant. Hope and wish they come back to their normal stage soon after renovation!

The food and the cost is totally worth it. Very good. The ambience this restaurant offers is one of the best at erode. I'm a big fan of their north indian and aayusu 100 thali. Excellent value for the price. It is their staff who lack training and any sort of professionalism. They act very rude, won't attened tables properly and that alone will ruin the restaurant experience for you. It's like making a flower garland (restaurant) and handing over to monkeys (the staff). Le jardin would always be my second option just because of their staff and their rude behaviour

Hall ac wont work. Only while booking the manager will switch on the ac. When the function is happening they will control the ac or off it and when we ask why there's no cooling, they will respond as too many people. So its hot. Very very worst hall ever used. No hot water in hotel rooms. Food particularly for functions are waste. No taste nothing.

This review is for the restaurant and not the lodging. There are two restaurants, one in the ground floor is pure vegetarian. The one in third floor (or is it 5th) is non veg- nattu kozhi special. We had a wonderful time at the veg restaurant. Their meals is the best for the price (150 rupees). The quality and variety along with the true authentic south indian taste makes it the best. And the bill fits the wallet.

The ambience was pleasant. Taste was good. Food was served with a smile. Thali spread was good. We had both north and south indian thali. The rotis served were of good size. Visited several times. Can have a satisfied lunch at their veg restaurant.

Hotel was once a landmark in Erode. Now it is shabby, AC not working, dirty linen, inexperienced staffs, very poor maintenance of rooms. Buffet breakfast was once the best in town but now it is not worth trying. Food was finished before 9am and staffs did not bother to replenish. Pathetic management if a good property. I will not suggest or prefer a stay in this place. I raised a complaint to their whatsapp no. They did not care to respond for such a poor service.
