Hotel Oxford

Very sad to see the ratings of such a leading hotel 20+ years back!! Be it hospitality or the food ,facilities,courtesy space.location ti was the best by then. Still i could recall the managers / management's personal touch for any of our colleague's. Changing times,huh? Wish and hope they come back to their normal. (by 2011 i was recommended to stay in Le Jardin with our colleagues from Chennai and Team leader from HO,such was the status which also lost its charm now,it seems.)

I booked this hotel Nov'23; the receptionist both were not having computer knowledge. Asking every details and they give a single non-AC room which was booked earlier. No one assisted me to reach room. The room not having lock and full of liquor smell. It's almost 10pm.I fought with them, then they assign an AC room again this room very sub standard AC with Zomato taps, old CRT TV, No water heater, No utilities like soap, towels, No dinning, No room service. A day before check out, I ask them to prepare bill and it could easy while vacating room.but, receptionist said while check out will do that; again he is not able to take print, my cab is waiting outside, need to catch the train at that moment he was doing the bills and performing calculation.very irritated and horrible experience.

Very poor customer service and responds. I booked rooms in 3 different hotels for the same dates in erode and this was the only hotel which charged extra than the actual tarrife saying it will be given back once the rooms are checked out. The rooms were checked out on Oct 20th, today is Nov 7th and I'm still following up with them for getting that extra deposit amount which they collected from me. There is no proper response and no one is feeling accountable for this. Worst service I ever faced in hotel bookings... I won't recommend this place HOTEL OXFORD if you are looking for you or for some else.

Not maintained at all. Bathrooms have the worst facility, leakages and floor is dirtier. Not recommended for a peaceful stay. No proper bedspreads and bedsheets provided. Bathroom essentials Not provided. Worst experience with the room and stay.

The hotel is centrally located and very near to the bus stand. Very convenient and has an attached vegetarian restaurant. The room service is decent. The hotel has seen its best days. During my visit, I was told that the place is undergoing renovation. So, the electrical points, a/c were not in their best !! But, the room was very spacious and clean. The staff very courteous.

Third class hotel I have ever seen in my life.. they clean rooms after 3 days of stay. Landline is not working in each and every rooms. If you call on their local number for room service than they will not respond your call so, you have to go at reception and put the receiver on phone and than order for the water bottle and towel. So disgusting experience. Cheap people , cheap staff , and cheap manager . Third class hotel in india.

Was good. Once. Not any more. Cost is affordable. You will have to compensate with leaking shower, Old TV's, broken switches, and antique curtains. Can do a lot better. Serves Vegetarian food, via Room Service. Can't complain on food. Expecting them to do a overhaul to be the best in town.
