Time Travellers Hostel

My stay at Time Traveller's Hostel was absolutely fantastic! The ambiance is a perfect blend of comfort and creativity, ideal for solo travelers, backpackers, and anyone looking for a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms and common areas were clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to offer local tips or just have a great conversation. I also loved the social vibe--met some amazing people from around the world. If you're looking for a place that offers great value, excellent location, and a truly memorable experience, Time Traveller's Hostel is the place to be!

Time travellers were a one of a kind experience in Auroville. The humans to animals there, the trees to the rooms are very beautiful. Plus a pool for 199/- is a hidden gem of a deal

Highly Recommended! Great place for bonfire. Auroville Centre was on a walking distance, and so was the market. Beach was also pretty close, not walkable but more 10mins on a bike. The hostel vibe was pretty great!

Awesome place to stay. The location is just near to the auroville's entrance, which is an added advantage. The owner and volunteers who were maintaining the hostel are warm and welcoming, Vignesh was the person who helped us throughout our stay. He suggested many good places in nearby to explore.

The location is great, it's a beautiful hidden spot right opposite the visitor's center, the property has a lot of greenery and furry friends. The pool is clean, allowing one to cool down during the hot days. There is a shared kitchen and overall very homely environment. Many options to eat around the corner. It's a great place to start off if you're visiting Auroville for the first time.

One of the worst places to stay and the management is very rude. I booked this place via MMT and the amenities mentioned on MMT is completely different from what you actually see there. There's no privacy, the bathroom and washroom is shared. I had booked private villa and as per the amenities I was suppose to get a private bathroom and washroom but when I visited there they moved us to sharing cottage and when asked they said that's what it is and this is what is mentioned on MMT. And the situation was during the cyclone and the owner refused for refund. Please do not ever go to this place because you'll not get any facilities as said by the management on the Website or any other applications.

A trip with empty jar of expectations ended up jar full of good memories half of it was the experience I got from time travelers hostel, aurovalli. The name time travelers made me confused at the first then I got to know from that one day that this place has the power of taking us back to 100yrs ago where the shelter is made of dryleaves and sticks , no phone or no attachment with the present coexisting life style. I bet no one can ever leave that place saying "I don't wanna leave". To say about the people I felt a in-yun: this word specifies if two persons meet in any point of life and connects because it means there must be something between them in their past lives. While leaving it felt like a my heart is hooked and it's pulling back to there. That made me realise there is no force which can stop me going back there once again. One life one soul make it peace.
