Arcot Woodlands Hotel

I saw the hotel's pictures on Google, and it looked impressive. However, when I visited, I was utterly disappointed. For me, the hotel is a crucial aspect of any trip, as I'm constantly juggling work, childcare, and household chores. I need a comfortable hotel where I can unwind and enjoy my stay. Unfortunately, this hotel fell far short of my expectations. Upon entering, I noticed mold everywhere. The bed appeared dirty, and the washroom was extremely unclean, with no attention to hygiene. Food was served on dirty plates, and the kettle was ancient. The hotel seemed old and poorly maintained, resembling a ruin. As soon as I entered the room, I was hit with a foul odor. This trip was, without a doubt, the worst I've ever experienced.

Worst Hotel. Will never wish to go again. Poor quality room, no fan, improperly functioning AC, nasty restroom, unfriendly front desk and inefficient room service. They project that they are very great, but sadly they fall short. However, the Restaurant offers decent food in the context of Cuddalore and their filter Coffee is as good as it can be !

We had breakfast while going en route, the restaurant is very spacious. Plenty car parking. the food is excellent and people are good, rest room is neat and clean. Morning they open at 7 am.

There are many unexpected discomforts.. The rooms on the road side are not designed to limit the outside Noises as its done with normal cladded window glasses. So I felt no deep sleep. The Wifi signals are having poor coverage inside and the connected wifi is not working at outside. even some 2-3 guests asked for the same thing, but the receptionist was very casual. seems even for months, none of their staffs are checking whether its working or not. Not all the staffs are trained, no proper information about where the morning breakfast is provided. overall feel like their staffs are very casual and not dealt with the complaints. 2 star for the location, due to road side rooms are noisy
