Worst experience ever. We had booked the room online in order to avert difficulties. But what we experienced in the guest house was totally contrary to even our minimum expectation. 1. Staff were not helpful. Whenever we approached them for any small issue, they were showing an indifferent face to us. They did not make any effort to fix any issue 2. Room was very dirty and full of fungus in windows, bathroom, bed area etc 3. Bathroom was not clean. We bought harpic and cleaned it ourselves. 4. No Dustbin was there in the room. 5. Fan was making huge sound but when we told the staff to repair it, they did not make any effort to attend to that. 6. When we wanted to cancel the room, they were not ready to refund. I tried calling your customer care but it did not go through. 7. We stayed there for 3 days but had horrible time. 8. There is no reception room in the guest house, but the photos on your website shows some reception room photo. These are deceiving the customer. 9. The bedsheets were old and dirty. Overall we did not have pleasant stay but a very disturbed experience. They have to improve on customer care, cleanliness, immediate compliance, uploading only real facts on the website etc.

Worst rooms. It's not clean and bad odour coming from everywhere from the cottage. Don't trust Photos on the internet. No cable connection but TV is there for every room. No washbasin and mirror. Worst cot and bed. had a very bad experience. Pls don't go there.

HORRIBLE - PLEASE DON'T USE OYO for ANY BOOKING and DON'T BOOK ARUN COTTAGE EVEN DIRECTLY.. There is no option to give less than 1 star for SPOT ON 66656 Arun Cottage. Both Arun Cottage and OYO are Fraud. I made a booking of 3 rooms for a family of 6 people and paid an advance through OYO 20 days before my trip. When I called Arun Cottage to inform them that I will check in shortly, they said all the rooms were booked. No rooms were available. I told them, I booked via OYO and paid advance 20 days before itself. He asked me to cancel the booking and asked me to come in directly and asked me to pay double the amount which was shown in the OYO booking app. So I called OYO customer support to report this and it just took around 8 calls to reach a customer service agent. But they said they will support only in English or Hindi. But when I made a booking a guy called me and he spoke in Tamil. But other guys are refusing and saying they don't support any language except English and Hindi. This is Fraud Number: 1 from OYO. When I informed the customer service agent about the issues, he kept me on long hold and came back saying sorry, all the rooms are booked. One thing which I don't understand is how a room can be booked which we have blocked earlier. I told him (CS Agent) Arun cottage Manager asked me to come directly and get rooms with them and they are asking me pay double the charge. That CS agent hasn't bothered to hear this at all. He said I have to cancel the booking in order to get a refund. I told I will not cancel, as this was a Service Denial from OYO and ARUN COTTAGE why I should cancel my booking. I asked for a Refund and Compensation for Service Denial. But they refused to give any Compensation for this illegitimate service. So finally I asked them to send an email to me, mentioning we will not give any compensation even though we (OYO and ARUN COTTAGE which are associated with OYO) dined my check-in. They said they will send an email because that is not their policy. After keeping that CS Agent on a call for 1 hour and 15 minutes. He sent me an email. OYO question to you - Why your service is too horrible??? Why can't you give any compensation for the customer who was denied their service? I made a booking 20 days before, why i was not informed earlier that my booking was cancelled??? I expect to receive an honest response from the senior management of OYO. And Please remove your association from Arun Cottage if you're an honest customer-serving company.

We could have slept in roadside which could be better than choosing this cottage... Everything is unclean. Service is a big flaw corrupted persons.

Worst experience on service and Ambience is too bad.At the time I have gone the renovation work is going on but, the rooms are available while the work is going on it's sounds like bad, but comparing to the prices it's very affordable to the rooms.I recommend to check other hotals availablity after you have no options you can proceed.

No blanket, no shower bath, no tv ( not working only monitor ), no clean, leaking taps, dirty smell. Online showing 300/- but they ask 600/-.a old man asking 50 rupees for tea. Not going there.
