Owner is all time drunkard. What we say he forget. So if you commit when you check out he will never remember. Room is full of bug or insects. Service is very poor. You will not get anything. They charge based on your personality. Usually other places charge 500-800. Here they charge 1000 for the worst room. You will not any small item like bedsheet, additional pillow or anything.If you stay more than 24 hours i.e 30 min to 2 hours they charge bulky. By summary it is not fit for accomodation.please avoid this lodge for your pleasant accommodation

A good place for family travellers. Can easily accommodate 10-12 guests. We were a group of 6 people and it was very spacious. We stayed in first floor. Power backup was available. Can park 2 cars. Fridge available. Nearby five falls. Toilets needs to be kept clean.

Room rent 4000/night for this Low grade room, low grade bed, Ac only for name no cooling. Never go this hotel

Very dirty place, alcohol smell on bedsheets, rooms. Toilet seat missing, we had booked for two days but decided to leave the next morning,but we were forced to pay for the full two days. We stayed for less than 24 hours but payed two days rent. Only watchman is available to hand out the keys and he will disappear. This place is not for any decent family to stay. Beware don't be cheated by the photos.

Booked 1st floor in Sankarhomes over the phone. This building is different from the one that is showing up in the google photos. We booked it for 5 adults +2 children. 1st floor has 1 living room and 2 bedrooms. Pros: **Affordable Price **Very near to all the falls **Decent and safe family stay Cons: ** Fluctuating price. I see it for Rs.3800 online. I booked over phone and got a deal for Rs.3000. After 5 days, I see it for just Rs.1800 excluding taxes. **In the picture I saw the fridge and the word kitchen is included which made me to assume that I would be provided with basic kitchen amenities for self cooking. Even a few guests review online confirmed this point.But it is a blank kitchen with no fridge or other utensils. **Old CRT TV is provided. No channels displayed. Not recharged.Informed immediately. They also reponded but till we checked out next day, it was not at all recharged. Though they said they recharged, it was not convincing as TV channel recharging process was nt a tedious one. It could have been solved. Since we had a lot of outdoor activities during this stay, we adjusted.

The Home is located just one km before main falls, excellent place, no traffic, no noise, no pollution and calm place. Excellent place for family stay and sufficient play area available at Oonjal Veedu for children's. Other facilities like, Fridge, TV, and Kitchen also available. No brokerage, you can directly contact owner, and very supportive. Value for money (*****) Decently maintained house. In House cooking (Kitchen) available, utensil for cooking available on rent near the House. (affordable for large number of peoples) Homely food available on order basis (More than 10 members) Tenkasi railway station to Oonjal veedu : 4.5 km approx (Auto fare INR : 100 approx) Auto facility available 24* 7 near oonjal veedu. Home to Main falls around 1 km (walkable). Tiger falls : 2 km, Five Falls : 6 km, Old Courtallam : 7 km, Chithra sabai : 1.2 km (excellent temple-must watch) Temple -open timings : Morning 7 to 12 Noon, Evening : 3 to 6 pm)

Close proximity to all attractions nearby, not too good not too bad accommodation, perfect for a bunch of family or guys of 10 number, morning view is awesome amidst mountains and clouds
