OYO 45448 Aruvi Resorts

Nice lodge with clean rooms. Good for money and value

I am really sorry that I am not able to give 0 rating as there should be at least one star to write the review.
I have booked 3 rooms at the Aruvi resort for two days from OYO. I have paid the entire amount online before checking into the hotel. Once we checked in we were guided to the rooms and our heart just sank after having a look inside the rooms, especially the bathrooms (I will try if I can upload some pics). All the bathrooms inside the rooms were not at all hygienic. The beds did not have the OYO standard red cloth in it and they were not comfortable. When we checked the beds, they were too old and found that a piece of foam was simply laid on top of another old mattress and covered with the white sheet. Pathetic.
The worst things are yet to come. When booking the rooms it was told that we had complimentary breakfast but the next day morning when we asked for it, the receptionist told that he is not aware of it and after we insisted he told us that he can provide breakfast for two. We were seven and he finally agreed to give us money and can have food outside. And, what a surprise, he gave us just 200 rupees..!!!
The next day night was even worse. Power failure at around 11.30 in the night and we couldn't sleep as it was really hot. We went to the night watcher and asked about any power backup, he told us that the power back up is not working. We came back to the rooms and was sitting awake until 3am in the morning accompanied by a huge number of mosquitoes..
Even though we stayed at the hotel for 2 days, the room was not cleaned the second day. We also learnt from other tenants that when they came in the night looking for their already booked rooms they were not provided the same and had a huge argument around it.
In our whole trip to Courtallam, it was just the hotel that disappointed us. It was just pathetic.. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is travelling to Courtallam. And I would request OYO not to endorse these kind of hotels as this would ruin your reputation as well..!!

Very nice room. Well maintained... Cost was also very effective. But only disadvantage is that they dont have restaurant. Overall it was a nice experience staying in this resort. Parking facility was also there. Very near to the falls.

Rooms are good to stay, location and view is good with garden and parking, and cost also quite inexpensive

Worst please don't check in. God only has to help nd save. Indecent managing staffs

Place was ok but not that great. Bedsheets where not good. Wifi is there but no internet connection. No food available and no hot water

In one word...Pathetic. The rooms here are bad and bathroom is worst. Please look anywhere else for rooms

Horrible place, no cleanliness and OYO standard. OYO need to take responsibility of this
