The Xanadu, Coonoor

Very Beautiful place to stay in Coonoor. Everything is amazing & beautiful about this property, including the location, place, service, ambience, rooms and the staff. The entire staff is so helpful, friendly and polite. Special thanks to the Owner, Aparna Bharathan Madam, who made sure our stay remained pleasant, she not only addressed us with warmth but also helped us in dealing with everything as we visited the place for the first time ,for example, which places to visit, arranging taxi for us, n all with appropriate pricing. With such nice people serving us, travellers build trust and with such trust, Holidays gets memorable. Thank you The Xanadu, I'm coming back soon.

We stayed in the Superior Room at The Xanadu, Coonoor, and had a wonderful experience. The property is set in a stunning gated community that feels more like a quaint European town than India, with charming bylanes and a serene atmosphere. It overlooks a picturesque valley--definitely a 10/10 for the view. The food is simple, homely, and delicious, just like a comforting home-cooked meal. The hospitality stands out, with warm, kind, and courteous staff who make you feel well cared for. The entire place exudes peace and comfort, making it perfect for a quiet, relaxing getaway. If you're looking to unwind in a beautiful, tranquil setting, this is the place to be.

We had a lovely stay at Xanadu. Everything was thoughtfully organised and made available. The view from the property and area around it was breathtaking. We would recommend taking a walk through the area with Zubin. He shared interesting insights concerning the tea estate.

The location is the best part. The view especially the sunrise is just too good. Food options are limited but the home chefs do a good job. Guests must understand that this is a shared 3 BHK villa so your privacy is definitely compromised. It'll be best if 3 couples (I'd recommend couples only) book the entire villa. Service was good but has scope for improvement mainly in terms of cleanliness.

At Xanadu, we experienced spacious, delightful bedrooms, artfully decorated living room, and garden with a yoga platform and spectacular views of the Nilgiri hills. Moreover, the staff were very helpful in accommodating individual dining needs of our party of four, and the freshly made Lamb biryani was delicious! Xanadu Coonoor is a quality find for experiencing the Nilgiri hills. And the owner and staff really cares about the particular or unexpected needs of guests.

Apart from the amazing views, the rooms and the property is very hygienic. The owner is very polite and responsive. The caretaker cum cook 'Gangaram' is also very polite and helpful. Love the place, stayed for a day during mid Dec. Would recommend to book the entire property in order to have utmost privacy. Highly recommended!!

Dear Aparna & team, Thank you for being patient throughout the booking process before we came to The Xanadu. True to the reviews we saw online, the place really has the MOST BREATHTAKING view, and the friendliest staff! The place was clean, the food was yum, and the whole experience was amazing. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for also arranging a cake for us at 12 AM, and to Gangaram bhaiya - for being awake at this our to successfully execute our little birthday surprise :) We hope to be back soon.

Beautiful and well maintained property with breathtaking view and garden was a highlight of our stay. We had an amazing stay at The Xanadu for 4 nights. The house was clean, comfortably furnished and perfectly located. Communication with the host Ms Aparna was prompt, helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend The Xanadu to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.
