The dining experience was excellent, with a variety of delicious dishes and a well-stocked breakfast buffet to start the day off right. It was an excellent stay at ITC Welcome Coimbatore . I stayed with my family for a night last week. Pleasant room ambience, excellent amenities and cleaniness. Kind staff. Varieties in breakfast.|Most important to mention that I forgot my iPhone charger in the room itself which I came to know once I reached Pune. With just a phone call to hotel they confirmed having found it in room and sent it across all the way to my residence in Pune through Blu Dart. This is remarkable gesture of service and kindness. Location - Stayed for a day , nice location and surrounding Service, Staff and Rooms - Clean rooms and immediate response to any service requests. Polite staff and well behaved from Security, Dining to housekeepers. Food - We had booked with Breakfast and Lunch or Dinner buffet combo. We were told that they don't have Lunch buffet but later served since there was another group of 20. If the hotel does not have Lunch buffet don't provide that option while booking since the options during the buffet were very limited. The veg starters in Lunch buffet were made hastily ( we ordered paneer tikka and sheikh kabab)and were bad for a 5 star hotel. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a good spread.

The biggest highlight of the hotel, is that it is centrally located and kudos to the rest room cleaning crew (Scrupulous Toilets). Adjacently placed dining area (WelcomCafe) and Bar (Cotton Bar), which is convenient for people who prefer a little more luxury with their food. It has a comfy tone to it, with contemporary interiors. There is line-up of valets waiting at the entrance, all courteous. BUT... there are somethings that need immediate attention too. 1. They seem to have occasional flies and mosquitoes. 2. Looks like the water glasses at the tables are not thoroughly cleaned as I got served in a stinky glass which they ofcourse changed on request. 3. Our server was not a very happy person. Not only did he not greet us with a smile but he was borderline rude intermittently until he saw the tip coming. 4. And they serve terrible coffee which is a shame. 5. They do not accept UPI credit cards, (yet) which is surprising, it being such a huge hotel conglomerate. Overall it's a fancy setting, where you can have a chill time if you're feeling a little need to shell out.

They offer a luxurious stay with elegant rooms and a serene ambiance. However, the service quality was inconsistent there was a slow response and a lack of attention to detail at the time of arrival. While the property is top-notch, the service needs improvement. I almost waited for an hour before they provided me with a room, even though I informed them about my arrival.

The hotel left a positive impression overall. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the breakfast spread was excellent. The room was comfortable with only minor concerns. However, the gym was quite cold, and the pool being closed was a slight inconvenience. Notably, the F&B staff and security were more welcoming and warm than the front desk. It was also encouraging to see women in the security team -- well done. I look forward to returning.
