This is a service apartment situated close to airport. The cost it is offered for is value for money. Has good parking space. The rooms come with a drawing room, a TV, AC room, a kitchen sans any stove or vessels, attached bathroom with 24/7 hot water. Kitchen didn't have light. They don't have restaurant. There are restaurants nearby and you also get Swiggy/Zomato.

Lol this place is a joke. One of the worst experience ever. There are bulbs but no lights , Tv & AC but no batteries in the remotes , Kitchens with sink but no water taps , Bedsheets smells like they havent washed it for months , extremely dirty everywhere. They dont even clean after a customer leaves. A complete waste of money. How is this even mentioned as hotel/residency ?! Disgusting.
I reached by around 9pm on my day of check-in. I had called ahead and informed them that I had a booking there. The building was hard to find as there was no illumination in the area, and the minute board was not even visible. Anyhow, proceeding to the check-in, the guy at the reservation counter asked me to delete my booking from OYO, and that they will provide the room at the same rate. I was so tired and just wanted to have a peaceful sleep, so, I did what they asked for and didn't even argue. Anyhow, once the check-in is done, they told that the room is on the second floor. There were no helpers for the luggage. Once again, without complaining, I proceeded to the room with the luggage. Once I opened the door, the sight actually shocked me. It was a poorly maintained 1BHK. The TV is in the living room, in front of a torn sofa. Lighting was bad, and the bedroom didn't have any fresh sheets. I raised the concern, which was not taken care of by the hoteliers. Further, the washroom also was poorly maintained, and there was no shower. Dental kit and Bath kit was not provided, for which the response by the owner when aged was, "We don't provide those items. You can purchase from outside". Anyway, since there was no other option, I had to remove the bedsheets and settle for the night. In the morning, I had asked for a bath towel, which was provided, but it was not cleaned. When asked for an iron box, the response from the staff was that we don't provide that, since this was an apartment which was later turned into a hotel. Everything about this is BAD. First of all, this is not a proper hotel. It is a failed apartment that has been converted as an afterthought. There is no nameboard anywhere on the building. It is named Varun Residence. The reception is manned by a elderly person who is extremely rude, uncourteous and unprofessional. There was one elderly person for service, who was drunk and refused to help with the luggage. The room was the dirtiest ever; it appeared not to have been cleaned in a month. Every surface was dusty. Bathroom is tiny and every surface is covered in hard water scales. No soap or towel were given; after demanding, only one soap and towel were provided despite two occupants. Room is mosquito infested. There is a telephone but nobody answers service calls. The fabric on the furniture was torn. Bolt of the door don't fit properly. The cloth hooks inside the toilet was broken. Even though complementary breakfast was included in the tariff, it was denied. Even drinking water was not provided. This is a terrible place for anyone to stay. AVOID IT. It doesn't even deserve one star rating.
This isn't even worth a star. The property manager has come from some Jungle and doesn't even know what is hospitality. He is very rude and looks like a total fraud. He denied checkin just because I questioned him for being rude. Never ever book this place. The coward manager denied revealing his name when I went to the extent of calling the police for harassing us. Please don't book this place. This is the worst you could land yourself into.
We wish there was an option for giving no starts because the hotel doesn't deserve any. We had booked rooms for our staffs here and they treated our staffs very and didn't let them checkin. They asked our staffs to cancel the Oyo booking and book directly. We got to understand that the manager there had used slangs on our staffs. Worst ever place. Heard the manager is an absurd man who doesn't know any meaning of hospitality.
According to OYO flagship hotel persons this type of 'hotel' which is authorized to accept foreign passport holders are better than the flagship which are budget hotels. Well... If this is the case, DON'T USE OYO IN INDIA!what a horrid bunch of 'hotels'. The commode seat is broken and we had to point it out to the receptionist who showed the room. The rooms smell bad. Although we paid for breakfast it never showed up, neither did any drinking water. Towels are provided at your own health risk if I may add. They smell, they are stained. But since we had no choice we suffered. The bed sheets are stained, we weren't sure if they actually change the sheets once rooms are vacated. The pillows were stained oh boy! Positives: mattress is comfortable so we had good sleep although the incessant outside traffic and doors slamming may contribute to some staying up and suffering. Location very close to airport and avinashi road where all the shops are. Enjoy the photos of the 3 star hotel!!
This is not a hotel & I had a bad experience. I have booked a Room on OYO 18954 Varun Residency on Thu, 26 May 2022 for Check In - 2022-05-28 & Check Out - 2022-05-29. I want to do early check in & early check out, so I called the hotel. Hotel person told me to come & they have more properties near by. So they can accommodate anywhere near by. I reached the property on 28 May 2022 @ 7.00 AM. When I asked about my check in they told they don't have any rooms with low amount. (Please note that I have booked room through OYO for Rs. 515 Only). The minimum room amount is Rs. 1200 as per them. Then I called OYO Customer Care & informed them all. They in turn call the Hotel Manager & then something fishy happened. After Some time the OYO customer care executive told that since I told have any original ID card they will not provide any rooms. But actually I have laminated copy of my AADHAR CARD (which is acceptable all over India). Even with the same Laminated copy I stayed in a room in Chennai before. So OYO customer care executive told he will not refund any amount & also he will not help me out to find any other rooms. Then I talked directly to the Varun Residency Person & got the room with same AADHAR Laminated copy. I have paid Rs. 700 extra for the rooms. Since I came for official purpose I didn't tell much & paid the amount. Now what am telling here was the OYO are doing some fraud & if hotel person are not accepting low amount then why they shown this in booking.
