Kalpaviruksha Ayurveda Center

I visited here for improving my eye condition -- retinitis pigmentosa, which has no treatment in allopathy. Ayurveda doctor Uma was very calm, compassionate and knowledgeable. She asked me what was my priority, and focused on the same. After the 7 day treatment here, my dark vision improved, and also light sensitivity decreased greatly. My eyes are adapting quickly from bright to dark, which is a major improvement in daily life! And the staff were all polite and very supportive the entire time! I'll come back here to improve my vision further! Grateful!

We booked our rooms (3+bungalow) two months in advance before landing in Coimbatore. Excited about the stay since we had a lot of festivals and relatives galore in a one month India trip, we landed at Kalpavruksha Resort to relax and enjoy the rest of the journey. ||To our amusement, we were told there were no confirmations or any such emails from us and no record of even the advance being paid. My husband who made the booking and spoke to the Manager panicked and it was not a good start for us. ||Soon, we were told that the manager and his team of 12 massage therapists (we were hoping for massages as advertised on their website) had left the place overnight and there were no records of our bookings. ||Blessing in disguise I say, because Mr. Sujay and his wife Sangeetha, who then managed the entire resort took excellent care of us and arranged for the rooms and other facilities within an hour.||We were given clean rooms and water to drink first (coimbatore in August is hot ). We were then told that the records we have as emails is more than enough and they arranged everything or us and apologised for the inconvenience. they even managed to arrange massages for a few of the family members and thereafter repeated the same the following the day. ||We couldntve been happier and more comfortable than this even if the old team were around, rest assured. ||Highly recommend the place, the food is heavenly as they customise it for you daily according to the needs, tranquil surroundings, with some sightings of the peacocks around. ||||The couple who run the place now are extremely helpful and friendly. ||||Thanks to them again for making our stay wonderful.

This place is located out of city but 30 minutes drive from center. It has very relaxing atmosphere, surrounded by forest and mountains. Air is very clean and fresh. Very quiet and green. Cottages are eco friendly. Food is home cooked style, served at convinient time. Service was very sweet and friendly.

No hot shower. No telephone service and no wifi, contrary to what was mentioned . We left there very deceived . No drinking water and no kettle provided in rooms and we had to leave one day before expected and had to pay for for that day. The only good note is for the cook who was just great and the massage man.

I really enjoyed my stay in Jan 2014 Very Pleasant and silent location on the foothills, Excellent Ayurvedic Massage & Spa by professional Kerala Therapist. Delicious Homely food ( veg & Non veg ), Courtigious service by all staffs. Planing long stay for next time.

Kalpaviruksham Ayurvedic Village was a decent only place. We found it normal and have expected a bit more but it was not bad either. The neighborhood was good with forest and all but the facilities a bit less.

Waste place... Elephant attack must... Please avoid waste service Towel, bedsheet.. Not washing.

Good climate natural place beautiful
