Disappointing Experience My recent stay at SBS Grand Hotel was a letdown. Several issues marred my experience, leaving me feeling frustrated and disappointed. 1. Overcooked Dosa: The breakfast dosa was severely overcooked and completely unappetizing. Given the importance of breakfast in setting a positive tone for the day, this was a significant disappointment. 2. Unhygienic Beds: The beds were itchy and didn't appear clean, which was not only uncomfortable but also concerning from a hygiene standpoint. Cleanliness is a basic expectation in any hotel, and SBS Grand fell short. 3. Restaurant Closure: The restaurant closed at 10 am, which seemed early for a hotel establishment. Despite requesting a complimentary breakfast, the staff couldn't accommodate my late wake-up time. This lack of flexibility was disappointing, especially considering the premium rates charged by the hotel. 4. Unprofessional Check-in: During check-in, the security guard asked me to get my car washed. When I declined, they inquired about my guest and then proceeded to wash the car anyway. However, the car wash service was subpar, leaving streaks on the windshield that obstructed my view. This unnecessary and poorly executed service added to my growing list of grievances. Given the high rates, I expected exceptional service, cleanliness, and professionalism. Unfortunately, SBS Grand Hotel failed to meet these basic expectations. The cumulative effect of these issues significantly impacted my overall experience, leaving me feeling dissatisfied and unlikely to return. I would never recommend SBS Grand Hotel to anyone due to its subpar service, cleanliness issues, and unprofessional staff. Potential guests deserve better options that prioritize their comfort and satisfaction.

Not great I had a reply from the owner of the Hotel who has no knowledge of the Hotel business. Dear Travellers. If you are giving a bad review to this hotel you are earning money. He will not correct he hotel and he will not do anything to make it hospitality friendly. If he as written the reply GOD SAVE HIM. If he has appointed someone. Still God Save Him since he is going to take the Hotel to DOGS. BY the way if you have 38000 Points google doesnt pay anything even this basic information is also missing from the brains of the people who are running this hotel. I think you need to put your stale brain to work to make your hotel better. For your information I work at my leisure and whimsical fancies. I dont have to struggle like to you to run so many businesses and make money.

I would not recommend this hotel. Literally a cockroach welcomed me when I opened the room door and it was also on the toilets which was disgusting. Maintenance and cleanliness in this property is worst. It was also costly and not even worth a single penny. Food was too average, it can just fill your tummy. We stayed at this hotel for one night after arriving in Coimbatore for the Maha Shivratri festival at Isha Yoga Centre. The reception staff were extremely helpful, especially when we needed to extend our stay for another night, which we hadn't initially booked. Their efficiency and hospitality made our check-in process smooth and stress-free. One of the highlights of our stay was the service - there was a very young waiter who greeted us with a big smile and made us feel instantly welcome. His enthusiasm and warmth added a lovely touch to our experience. The rooftop bar was another pleasant surprise. The manager ensured we were comfortable, and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. The live dosa station was a fantastic addition, and we ended up ordering our food from the ground-floor restaurant to be served at the rooftop, which was a great convenience. Overall, our stay was short but memorable, thanks to the excellent service, welcoming staff, and the enjoyable rooftop dining experience. We would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Coimbatore.

At the reception, staffs are rude,insulting the swiggy delivery partners,making inhuman gestures and harsh behavior,this sort of behavior was hurting people ,the reception staff should realise for their inhuman attitude

Very neat rooms , very polite service, complimentary breakfast was excellent.

I have stayed for two days along with my colleague. Total price they charged includes breakfast 3500. Recommended for the stay who are looking for economical and decent stay.

Mr. Maharaja is a very good boy ... very innocent boy...
