Hotel Mahi's Gateway

A well placed hotel with great food and the bar was neat with great hospitality. Great place to stay not far from the airport as well. The morning Buffe was an absolute filling for the stomach and soul.

Rooms were maintained very well, the staff were very courteous and helpful. It was a pleasant and safe stay

During my recent visit to Coimbatore, I booked this hotel but I was very disappointed with my decision. For following reasons, I will suggest you to avoid this hotel. 1) The hotel staff is very unprofessional. 2) Hotel rooms are not that good. Rooms are just like a Dharamshala. You may find some lights are not working or the bathroom taps are not working well. 3) It is claimed that the Hotel rooms are centralised AC but AC's are not effective. There are no fans in the rooms. Its too much hot to handle. 4) They will charge you much more even for ordinary water bottle which will be double than it's actual printed price. For Kinley water bottle costing Rs. 20 they charged Rs. 40 for each unit. Even the manager gives good reasons that its their business and they beared huge loss during lock down so they will sell it as per their own way. Hilarious! 5) If you ask for some service, the hotel will impose Room Service Charges that will be additional. I ordered food from the same restaurant that too in the hotel. For this they imposed Rs. 100 in the name of Room Service. Again the Hotel Manager argued with same stupid reasoning that we are doing business. Above all, I will suggest you to avoid choosing this Hotel for your stay as it is too costly. I paid Rs. 4000 per night in this Dharamshala and my experience was hilarious. You may get hundreds of hotels at much cheaper price that too near city center. Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!

I stayed at this hotel for 10 days, and while the service seemed good at the beginning, it quickly deteriorated, revealing the hotel's true colors. The service was pathetic, and the Wi-Fi was the worst I've experienced. We had to ask for Wi-Fi service daily, and it only worked reliably in the reception area on the ground floor and the dining area on the top floor. On the first floor, Wi-Fi worked in some rooms, but it was practically unusable on the second floor, especially in rooms 203-212. Just for the info, The hotel has a total of three floors, If you are planning to work from home, I would strongly advise against booking this hotel. Despite charging 4000 per night, which is the rate of a 3-star hotel, the hospitality here doesn't even deserve 1 star. They seem to be running their business primarily on corporate bookings, mainly from new joiners of various companies, which explains why their service is so poor. Some rooms were having water leakage issue and bad smell. The day time receptionist (who wears the eyeglasse) is worst. He doesn't listen to you.

We stayed here as foreigners and we were very impressed. The rooms were very clean with nice linen and towels. Housekeeping did an excellent job when they came in to clean and to replace linen. Reception staff and other hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was always ready and very tasty. It worked out great for us. Thanks.

Abianesh is very supportive while this stay. Morning breakfast is excellent and service while the buffet was very good.
