Location of the hotel is at less crowded area but easily accessible to city . Rooms are though old maintained very well. The architecture of hotel and rooms are excellent. Pool is well maintained. Reception of guest is awesome. Service and food is good without any complaints. Value for money.

During my madurai trip on March 18-19 I had booked this hotel for our stay. The online booking was done well in advance with full payment. It was smooth and fast. The confirmatory mail was received immediately. The reservation team does the prompt follow up sending reminders on two occasions to confirm the stay and sending the cancellation and repayment policy terms and conditions. 25 percent loss and full loss time schedule is informed. Coming to the reception on the day of our stay it was awesome. A welcome drink is served. Foreign guests are welcomed with the traditional kumkum on their forehead. The entire ambience of the hotel is too good with Chettinad style carpentry work. Rooms are just neat and tidy. Bathroom is spic and span. Their complementary breakfast is very good with plenty of options including non vegetarian. The spread has juice, egg dishes, dosa variety, poori sagu, and the south indian dishes like idly vada pongal kichadi etc. Bread cakes with jam and eggs are also available. Their travel desk is simply good. Mr Graydon impressed with apt guidance and arrangements. Their entire team in the restaurant deserves appreciation for their service. Their Lunch has an Ala carte option too. Mr siddiq service requires mention here. The reception team headed by Ms Varsha deserves recognition. I had requested for an early check in ( check in is at 2 pm and check out 12 noon) which was readily provided. Over all our stay was pleased and we appreciate the entire team JC for making our stay comfortable and memorable. Given an option I will revisit JC again. The hotel is about 5 kms away from the meenakshi temple.

This is one of the nicest property I have stayed in...the location is easy to find...the property has old charm perfect for functions shoots. The food is decent south indian food. I loved the hospitality of guest relationships manager...who was this very nice lady... It's decently prized so not heavy on your pocket. The rooms are spacious and has old world charm to eat. You can choose this Hotel in Madurai for a good stay.

Good old hotel with everything maintained in a classic way. It beats many new hotels in facilities and cleanliness. Rooms are quite spacious with good wood work which adds to its aura. Staff is friendly and disciplined. Location is very good in heart of town and so no dearth of taxi or any other mode of transportation. Very popular among localites for arranging meetings. Swimming pool is well maintained. Food is fine, on my first day heee somehow it didn't appeal much to my taste buds inspite of variety and healthy options, but parantha and kurma on last day was mind blowing-loved it Religious fervour all around with sermons from bible every where

Visiting from USA and happened to stay here for 5 days. Had a great room service and dining experience. The breakfast was awesome with a slight change on the daily menu. Ordered food a couple of times. It was good. If someone is not fully comfortable speaking in English, Tamil is a great language which is recognised worldwide can try using that. Overall both I and my wife enjoyed the stay.

Check in experience was great. They allowed early check in and provided complimentary breakfast too which was great. Only issue with my room was that electricity gets tripped and then have to call someone for help restoring electricity. Staff at every area is very attentive, prompt and supportive. Big thanks to Vanitha S for being an amazing host at the f&b area offering good food and service. Room quality and service is also amazing. Saranya Devi and Bharatan were great in ensuring our rooms were clean and back to luxury like the day we checked in. Overall, one of the best hotels to stay when in Madurai.

The rooms exceptionally clean. Love the hospitality and cleanliness. My daughter and wife fell in love with the ambience and swimming pool. The food is awesome.
