Hostel Neat and clean , Best customer service very safety and secure I just had an awesome experience of staying in here...homely food , free WiFi, friendly owner, and all other facilities... I can guarantee that your stay in thillai hostel would be a memorable one.. You will really enjoy it

Good place for women , neatly maintained.

I just didn't wish to give even one star because this hostel is just a worse place to stay. The owner is just fake person anyone could ever see just smile and take away all your money. No.1 money minded person I ever seen. He charges more than he offer. Food is average. Water facility is so poor which is smells like decayed garbage and so salty. Only good thing is some staffs are caring but some are so violent and be very harsh like they keep you captive. DON'T STAY HERE.

Have stayed here three times while doing MSc Applied Psychology and P.G. Diploma in Guidance and Counselling. The place is very safe, convenient and reasonable. We get dropped at the DDE complex in the morning ( with packed lunch) and picked up after classes. It has CCTV inside and WiFi The people who run this place are extremely helpful. Also, they pick you up from the bus stop or railway station when you reach Chidambaram and drop you when you are leaving. Like family !!!

Safe place for ladies to stay. Clean rooms with good service. Additional facilities like photo copy, print outs, mini stationery shop available for additional reasonable charges. Free wifi and pick up drop facilities. This is run by a Tamil family and hence a very homely place.

Worst hostel ever. They don't have basic amenities. No wash basin in the bathroom. No hot water. No flush in single rooms. Bad food...most time it's eating rice with boiled water and salt.Very money minded. There are cheaper and better places available in Chidambaram. Avoid staying here at all cost

I stayed only one night in Sri Thillai Womens Hostel - but it was a nice one. The women and girls were very nice, the rooms is small, but very clean and the food was good!||As I did not find the place, I was fetched by the manager, who came by motorbike and explained the rikshadriver, where to go.||Single ladies - this is the place to go: safe, cheap, clean!||Andy from Germany

I wanted to give negative star but its not possible so am giving 1 star. First of all this is not hostel its like jail. They won't say the rules about light and all initially. When you check in after that they won't allow you to study also after 10 o clock..They are only money minded..without light how can the students can study for their exams.I stayed only a day..i faced a lot about bath room and lights everything.10 members sharing I got for 4500 rupees. Girls were sleeping by touching the body that much small conjusted room they given. Both husband and wife have more concern about earning money by cheating the people. They do partiality for tamilians and other language people who don't have any relationship in local. Day time mens do work in room I was feeling so much uncomfortable to stay. I have joined before my admission, but unfortunately due to some personal reasons am unable to stay there long. For one day they charged 4500 rupees and never given back my money. Both husband and wife looks by sitting how much food you are taking. It's really unacceptable. Only the reason they are getting more reviews from known people and tamilians who are supporting this cheaters. They are getting many more people because in Chidambaram there is no other hostel facilities. So they are enjoying the unavailability of hostel. Before joining they promised a lot about stay and all. After joining they only was talking if you on the light after 10 o clock 500 rupees fine will be charged. What students can do by paying fine always without studying. I felt its a hell only.. I don't write for my personal revenge. I have said about my personal experience. Still you people also want to get cheated you can go ahead to enjoy this cheaters people service. Now the decision is upto you.
