Classic retro feel lodge, dont expect delux but clean and simple very close to temple entrance and best restaurant 3 meters away. Keep confirming your room rate in double check. Good place.

Zero rating, I really disappointed with staff and hotel rooms. Staff Behaviour and owner is such a useless person. Never book and don't go.

Rooms are okay with basic amenities. bed sheets are looks dirty. Great location, near to the East gate of Chidambaram temple. Drinking water is not provided.

Value for money! Neat & clean rooms with basic amenities. Hot water provided on request. The location is perfect. Walkable distance to Temple & restaurants

Worst behaviour of the manager... this building is very old and rooms dose not have and ventilation. .. if you open the windows mosquito will kill you. Allover dust. .. room smells very bad... Most over we went with family me, my wife , mother in law and grand maa.. . he said Until there is a marriage proof he cant provide a room for us... .Since i dont want to spoil the trip, i kept quit and came back.. .. they provide the rooms for rs 400 per day for The walk in travelers ... That kind of cheep... lot of other good hotels are nearby

We had horrible experience during our short stay at mansoor lodge. Firstly, essential drinking water was not provided by the hotel management. Receptionist guy from the management who were ruthless in behavior and demanded to pay refundable deposit which were not mentioned in policies. The money paid for our accommodation were completely worthless since unbearable mosquitoes bites us throughout stay. Furthermore our stay taught a great lesson that stinky washroom intensely annoyed us. Finally we packed up without explored the town center of attraction (mangrove forest) due to quandary situation happened to us.

Located near to the main temple. Cost is affordable. Rooms are not much good but reasonable with that price. Hotels and restaurants are located nearby,no problem for food. Car parking space is not available. There is no lift option.

Recently I booked this hotel through Yatra after getting deceived by the deal and the year old reviews. They said my reservation is not confirmed, but Yatra said booking is confirmed. Finally I lost my money 5K and found another better hotel. A couple of bad things to note about this hotel||1. Hotel is very basic with no hygienic amenities. Poorly maintained. Not at all suited for family with kids||2. There is no A/C rooms here.||3. No car parking||4. Front desk person doesn't speak English ||5. Of late heard that this place is used for non family events....||||Better to stay away from this hotel when you come to visit Temples in Chidambram
