Hotel Akshaya

Rooms were clean. Parking space for few cars available behind the hotel.Major highlight is that it is close to the temple and an a2b restaurant available in the same building...Due to non availability of ac rooms, had to stay in non ac room, which had no ventilation and it was very hot and humid inside the room, that too when it rained and had a pleasant climate outside.

Our stay at this hotel was largely positive, with some notable highlights and a few areas for improvement. *Highlights:* 1. *Bathrooms:* The bathrooms were super comfortable and well-maintained, adding to the overall luxury feel. 2. *Rooms:* The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, making our stay feel quite luxurious despite being a bit on the expensive side. 3. *Staff:* The staff were responsive and attentive, helping to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. 4. *Beds:* The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. 5. *Location:* The hotel's proximity to the temple was a significant advantage, making it an ideal choice for those visiting for religious purposes. *Areas for Improvement:* 1. *No Inhouse Kitchen:* The lack of an in-house kitchen was somewhat mitigated by the easy accessibility of the restaurant, though it might be a consideration for some guests. 2. *No WiFi in Rooms:* The absence of WiFi in the rooms was a drawback, particularly for those who need to stay connected during their stay. *Overall:* Despite a couple of areas for improvement, the hotel's luxurious rooms, comfortable bathrooms, and excellent location near the temple made it a great choice for our needs. With a bit more focus on amenities like WiFi, this hotel could easily become a top recommendation.

Location is ultimate.very near to the east gate of the iconic NATRAJA TEMPLE. Parking for cars create a issue. The tempting huge Sign board attracts a lot of tourists to this place.

Very near to Chidambaram temple. A2B at ground floor. So food is covered. Rooms are neat. Expensive for Chidambaram. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The suite room is very spacious for 4 people.

They charge rs.3360 per room irrespective of single or double occupancy. Below are the service they provide for this money. 1. Salty water in bathroom 2. No dental kits and other bathroom kits. Soap and towel are exception. 3. No breakfast 4. At 16 degrees AC does a air cooler job 5. Bathroom floor mat with stains 6. Entire tariff to be paid while checking in. Even in metro cities, for this money we could get excellent properties. But in a small town like Chidambaram, these people charge like metro and give service like a lodge. This is not a hotel. Just a lodge that charges 3x for the service they give.

Hotel location is great Hotel food is great but prices are too high . Hotel staff if good but always looks for bribe. Hotel rooms are fine, but mack of basic facilities like drinking water, soaps, shampoo etc .and price if but high.

The hotel located nearest to temple by walk will reach temple by 2-3 minutes. Room was good and neat. But the price is very high as we stayed for 1 and half days but they charged for 2 days. Don't expect anything as compliment rather than water bottle that too only 1 bottle per day. Mainly focusing on money as there is no complimentary breakfast or tea/coffee.

Good hotel and very good location.. walkable to the temple. Front office is very good..Rooms and room services are good.. A2B is added advantage.
