Alritz hotel

Pretty decent budget hotel in this Temple city and they turned out saviour for us when they offered us room late evening for the family. Clean room, clean wash room. Staffs are too good. No frills attached, no restaurant available and don't expect too much luxury but decent one for the price. AC room is very good for the price. Close to the temple. Parking available. Recommended.

Rooms were ok not value for money, visited during weekend booked mini suit room for Rs 2800, combination of two rooms, one part has split AC and other part has a loud window AC, you can't sleep peacefully in that sound. One good thing is they have seperate parking lot.

Very well maintained at a good budget. Service is also very good. They are prompt and attentive. Highly recommend.

Rooms are okay Bathroom is not upto the mark can be maintained well. As we checked in midnight so luckily got room AC Room Price is around 1850 and Non AC is 1250 may vary season to Season We got water bottle (Local Brand) and not stayed long so not commenting on Room Services Reception Staff is Polite they are speaking good english so that from other state tourists can easily understand.

Not the worst place I've been but close. The staff was kind and friendly and there was hot water even at night but that is all what was good with this hotel. The room was dirty the walls were full with killed mosquitos the bed looked like it could collapse in any sec and the sheet was full with holes. Thousands of mosquitos without a net in the window (it could cost 100 mrp) and a lot of cockroaches in various sizes (from little to very big). And all of this for 1400 rupees...

stayed here for 11 days for my educational trip in chidambaram. i would say this hotel is far better than many other hotels in chidambaram as i have tried few of them in my last year trip. it is located on the main road close to the bus stand, many restaurants & shops around. so you dont have to travel much for your needs. walkable distance to annamalai university and the natarajar temple. the tariff is reasonable and they offer you discount for longer stay. the rooms are ok with basic things like TV, water heater and they have lift as well. However they can improve upon the maintenance and cleanliness of the rooms. Few staffs are helpful and you have to identify them. they don't offer compliment breakfast. Ponnusamy hotel is at the entrance but now closed for renovation. this hotel is good for short overnight stay on your visit to chidambaram with family or friends.
