Value Hotel

Location is great nearby airport. Lol AC had been fitted in the strangest place of the room. The Ac never reaches to the bed... Rooms are below par. Bathroom water was leaking on tap and you van hear the tip tip noise which was irritating... 2000 for this room was too much.... I felt i should have opted a reputed hotel...

We recently visited chennai and stay at value hotel it is such a value for money. The hospitality and the staff and hotel manager Mr. Riyaz is soooooo good humble and helpful they help me for the late night dinner as well. So guys go for it..........

If you observe over here in reviews section a lot of profiles with one or two reviews only rate them 5 stars. Anyone with over 20 reviews in their profile has not given them high rating. Rooms are extremely old and filled with mold, the pictures they have put up is a misrepresentation. It smells of mold and is dangerous to health. VERY IMPORTANT THERE IS NO LIFT IN THE HOTEL. Wifi was not working when I stayed here and the corridor smells of cigarettes. They say no groups of guys allowed, we had a big group of guys opposite to our room and obviously smoking, thankfully they weren't loud. The amount of sound you hear in the night from the main road is unbearable and will destroy your sleep. The washroom directly transports you back to a public toilet in 1990s, uncovered pipes, horribly dirty tiles, no shower head and low flow water. Hot water didn't work for me, so they gave me an immersion rod to heat the water. They don't have sockets, switches or plugs beside the bed so, you can't switch off or on anything lying down, neither can you charge your phone The groundfloor is filled with large rats and smells like toilet. Last but not the least while the distance to the airport is low, the time taken will be higher than staying at a better hotel 5-10km more away, as this hotel is situated in between Pallavaram Market, which is heavily congested, so unless it is early morning or late night, it will take you at least 45 minutes to reach the hotel. So even if you have to layover due to a flight, you can get better hotels which are easily more reachable although further away.

You know what you are going to get at these prices, basic rooms etc..., so I wasn't complaining. Near airport and free transfer to airport. My flight was early morning. Adequate for me. Bathroom had hot water, which I wasn't expecting. Tea stalls and food places nearby, including a huge biryani place. As a back packer from UK, I was more fascinated by the side streets and shops. One narrow alley way was full of cows and buffalos! They allowed me to take photos of milking the cow. Rail station and bus station nearby. Mall at the airport to see films and food if you want to wait there for flights too. I enjoyed it. Nice chats with staff and helpful too. I only wish the coffee machine worked ;)

I stayed with my family, Worth of money, Staff are really so friendly, They are providing complimentary Airport drop with their own cab

Hi This is Sanjeev Kumar from Delhi I checked in late night just couple of days ago , gentleman at the reception was courteous with good communication, etiquettes etc and very professional, room was good clean good for a budget Hotel, I had to check out at next night 2am same gentle man organised vehicle for airport drop. Good English and above all good Hindi. Recommend value Hotel for short stay. Gudos guys keep it up..

No maintenance, Not clean, No AC, the bathroom conditions Very bad, very noisy, The hotel name is Value hotel but unfortunately it's not value hotel. Nobody cleaning the rooms and outside rooms, the WiFi also very bad
