Umino Beach Resort Banquet Hall and Restaurant

My husband planned our wedding anniversary here. Candle light Dinner and the service was excellent. Rooms were also good. We were chilling with the beach vibes. Recommended place.

Very poor management. We went for a corporate event based on a friend's recommendation. Upon arrival, the admin lady made us wait on the lawn until everyone arrived, refusing to give us access to even one room--despite having paid an advance--until the full payment was made. The food was average, and while the rooms were clean, the area is very local, and the prices they charge are quite high for the kind of ambience and locality they offer. To make matters worse, they didn't even provide a bill for the amount we paid, claiming the accountant was on leave. If you're so strict about collecting payments upfront, shouldn't you be equally professional when it comes to issuing receipts? If the accountant is on leave, does that mean you won't collect payment for the stay? It also seemed like they were deliberately avoiding GST on rooms and food items that are charged at lower rates. One of the worst experiences we've had with administrative staff.

Wow and Beyond ! This is my fair review and this place will be beyond all your expectations! This was my 2nd time here, and I can't stop loving Umino! Breezy Views, Access to Beach, Lovely Pool and the highlight of all is their wonderful and Cozy Private Dining that topped almost everything ! Brilliant Chefs with expertise in multiple Cuisines and staffs who accomodated almost all our requests. Best place for a Family "Private" Stay ! There is indeed no regrets and it was a splendid vacation ! Special thanks to Mr.Guru who ensured we did a wonderful job in his Dining service.

Rude staff. Worst service. ONLY cash payment is accepted no UPI or card payment accepted. This is our third year to this place and nothing has improved. The staff is very rude for any service. They didn't even provide drinking water and we were forced to buy water bottles instead and they counted 19 bottles instead of 9 bottles we bought. We had to go through a lot of negotiation and get into call with manager to prove our case, finally the manager agreed. The breakfast was served at 9AM which I would say is very late and to add to our disappointment even tea or coffee won't be served before the breakfast.we ordered for tea and waited for a long time , it never came. For this cost we expect better service at the least.

Excellent place to stay in budget friendly price. Worth for money. Very near to beach and we had a chance to fine dine for dinner. Enjoyed the food a lot. Especially crab soup, prawn popcorn was super tasty. Seafood varieties are so fresh and tastes good. Other main courses are also good. Must try once

I stayed at Umino for 4 days in December and the stay experience was amazing. From the location to the service provided was exceptional. The food was good and prepared fresh and the people were very friendly. I recommend this place for family stays.

Have booked rooms tonight Felt like going back to my school days When playing in swimming pool at 8pm should play silently. After 11:30 pm dates will be closed. Dinning tables were in pathetic condition never let your child to sit on them . restaurant food is good Need lot improvement areas.
