Can't award less than one star and hence given one star. Such a lousy hotel not worth for staying. Charged 2240/- per day but nothing is worth it. Rooms are of foul smell. Lots of cockroaches everywhere from the cupboard to toilet. Even in beds cockroaches are just roaming freely. No room service. Only two persons are working, one at reception and one for housekeeping. Toilet is absolute garbage. My advice to anyone viewing this, instead of staying here, one can sleep in the platform. No covered car parking. Need to park your car on the platform of the road.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Hotel Retreat Selaiyur. For my daughter's wedding, I booked 8 rooms two months in advance. The booking staff took my details and assured me that the rooms were reserved, even noting everything in a register. When I inquired about an advance payment, the staff advised me to come back 10-15 days before the wedding. However, when I returned today to pay the advance, another clerk informed me that there was no booking under my name and that all the rooms were fully booked. I escalated the issue to the manager, but I received no proper resolution. Now, I'm left feeling helpless and frustrated. I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience.

Very worst experience that me, my mom and my sister has ever experienced. Not worth at all for the price although we ended up paying 2500/-.|Room windows are damaged and mosquitoes are flying all over the room and beds are not proper, one bed is broken and finally its a smoked room with tobacco smell all over the room, upon complaining they just sprayed the room freshener and left, the room is right next to recpetion no 302 i guess. Never and ever i would recommend family specially. This will just spoil your time and peace.. very disappointed, not worth even a single room.

My spouse and I stayed at The Retreat Hotel for five nights in a deluxe room priced at Rs. 2500 per night. The room is located on the third floor and is very spacious with a bed that can accommodate two. A separate smaller sized bed is also provided next to the main one. The deluxe room also includes a smart TV, a refrigerator, A/C, fan, and various other furniture support. Nice. The attached bath includes geyser and a big bucket that we used when bathing (drawing the water from the bucket, Tamil style). As a Tamilian, I liked the hotel stay. Support staff (Mr. Rajan, Mr. Aravind, and Mr. Ganesh) were courteous and readily helped with making our stay comfortable. The hotel is located at the Camp Road junction so any item one wishes to buy is just a stone's throw away. A2B is about less than a KM away. However, very close to the hotel is a Thalapakatti Biryani restaurant. There is sastha stores nearby, where, if you are a Tamil, you would relish buying all kinds of bakshsanam including "marundhu", the deepavali morning special. A fantastic place to stay, as far as I'm concerned.

Worst experience. Dusty rooms , faulty plumbing , smelly toilet. And was forced to check out 2h early at last minute even though i had informed them of my timings before hand due to them booking another person last minute

Prime location, very easy to access. Rooms were very tidy and spacious with cupboards to store luggage. Doesn't feel like a hotel, feels more like a furnished bedroom. Great service and hospitality!

What kind of a service is this? This hotel is the worst customer service I have ever faced. That manager is a cheat who maintained we haven't booked any rooms with them. Finally after arguing for 45 minutes he said he didnt confirm the room when the request was raised. I was denied rooms in the hotel saying the rooms were full and my booking online is not valid. When I was arguing with him he allotted rooms to some other new people walking in. Finally he showed a room where I wouldn't even urinate on. I decided not to stay in his bathroom. It was suffocating and seemed nobody used the room for many many days.My old parents had so much burden due to booking in this hotel. Pls stay away.

Comfortable room and friendly staff!! Infact, I somehow missed my gold ring in their hotel . I was somehow feeling it's gone and I'm not gonna get back at all. Mr.Sudhakar - house keeping staff diligently collected it and returned back. Thanks to him and the entire team for helping and returning my valuable.
