The Malayalee Club

I recently had the opportunity to be part of an NIT Calicut Alumni Association- Chennai Chapter at this Club. It is located in the city and has very spacious conference rooms for conducting programs and all. They also had a very good catering services and the entire place was well kept.

This time straight walked into the Bar. The ambience was very good. The Bar is well stocked with adult beverages and offers exotic cocktails & mocktails as well.||As we went during lunch hour the Bar was relatively less crowded. They offered to serve our lunch over there. We Enjoyed certain Kerala style delicacies!

This place is located in the art of the city it has all the amenities of a banquet hall it as fully equipped kitchen, meeting auditorium separate veg and non veg cooking areas. Rooms are also available and even have enough restaurant for guest was saying staying the or people who come to the club. Recently weed did a catering service at the club. The checking time was 11 but they gave us or cooking area much before checking time we did not find any mistake in the kitchen. It is a good place to Share dinner or any other menu via buffet service.

This club is a club for malyalees. The location is very good. There are halls of different sizes . The smaller halls are available for non members while larger halls is only available for members.There is also bar attached

Had a 1night stay here with my family....the club is located in heart of the city and makes it convenient to go all places is the key...stay was comfortable....lot of facilities like ayurveda massage and sports rooms...lift was not working...the building though bit old is maintained decently...

I had the most memorable Vishu this year, thanks to the incredible hospitality and warmth of the team at The Malayalee Club at Chetpet,Chennai and one remarkable gentleman: Mr. Hassain. I was on the verge of giving up on experiencing a traditional Vishu Sadhya, as all the seats had already been booked. That's when Mr. Hassain stepped in like a true savior. With all seats fully booked and the Sadhya rush in full swing, I had nearly given up on the hope of enjoying a traditional Vishu feast this year. But Mr. Hassain -- calm, composed, and incredibly kind -- took the time to listen and understood how much this meant to us. Despite the packed house, he went out of his way to arrange seats at the very last minute. That gesture alone speaks volumes about the kind of dedication and care he brings to his work. He wasn't just doing a job -- he was creating joy for others. Mr. Hassain handled the crowd with so much grace, ensuring everyone felt welcomed and attended to. It's rare to find someone so personally invested in making sure guests leave with a smile -- and we certainly did. Now, let's talk about the food -- the real star of the afternoon. The Vishu Sadhya, prepared by The Malayalee Club Team, was nothing short of spectacular. Every dish on that banana leaf tasted like it was made in a loving Kerala kitchen. The attention to detail was evident -- perfectly balanced flavors, authentic textures, and generous portions. From the tangy inji puli to the creamy avial, crispy banana chips, and the rich, comforting payasams -- every bite brought a sense of nostalgia and warmth. The caterers truly deserve applause for maintaining such high quality while serving so many people. The food came out fresh, well-organized, and served with a smile. Even the Vishu Kani was arranged with such care and sincerity, it truly stood out. There was something deeply comforting about it -- almost as if an elder from the family had lovingly set it up to bless us into the new year. It wasn't just a decorative ritual; it felt sacred, homely, and full of meaning. The team's gentle hospitality and respectful presence added so much soul to the moment -- reminding us that festivals are not just about food, but about the feeling of being cared for. Huge kudos to the entire team, especially Mr. Hassain, for pulling off such a smooth and soulful Vishu celebration. If you're looking for a place that serves not just food but the feeling of being home during the festival -- this is it.

Located in a prime locality in Chetpat, with very good infrastructure and abundant car parking space. Dedicated team of staff. Excellent food with traditional varieties. Overall awsome experience.

Super impressed by this large, well-maintained, impressive club. I was a guest, so got to see the members-only bar and dining room. Loved the food and the service in both. The public areas including an Ayurveda spa, a pickleball court and set of trampolines.
