The Great Empire Hotel

Worst staff ever , not a good place to stay, the lady manager was extremely rude and disrespectful she did not have any kind of respect towards the guests, there was already a lot of damage in the hotel that we didn't notice and while we were checking out they accused us for the damage and made us pay, we stayed in a cottage which was not safe, the balcony was not protected at all anyone could come and break in.

It was good before, I used to stay here whenever I visit Chennai. But now they are not maintaining it, too much noise coming from the AC, uncleaned bathroom, dust and cockroaches all over the room, bad smell. Worst experience this time. I asked for other room but they didn't provide. Had to cancel my stay and switch to another hotel.

Room price is expensive. Customer service very poor. They charge AC room 1400 for one day. Room is average. Poor ventilation. No hot water. Complimentary breakfast available. Water quality very poor. Room is kept clean. You can get a better hotel at the same price.

Last minute had to travel to Chennai on a official trip. So one of my friend booked this place online. First let me tell the good thing. The price. My friend had some coupons so it worked out for 1320 for two days. The restaurant(Hotel Arafa) attached to hotel is very good. The food is very good and staff and owner very friendly. The good part ends here.

Worthless Behaviour of The Manager in this Hotel. I was stay 4 days but last days during check out he was asking Rs1344/ he said your checkout was over in the morning by 7 am while already i had informed them i will check out by 1pm that time he was agree and when I ask my bill of 4 days , he said I will not give your bill. So my request to every visitor don't stay in this hotel.

Very good place... Am staying last 15 months... Monthly 2 days in first week of month.... Very good ambiente, free Wi-Fi, nearby hotel... Good hospitality. Very nearby koyambedu bus stand, nearby CEMARA ATM BANK... Nearby Omni bus stand, nearby metro station, nearby railway station, nearby cinima theater, nearby restaurant, nearby auto stand, nearby KFG and many facilities we can take by walk .... Hotel on road base...

Walk-able to Koyembedu Bus Stop, Closer to market, and restaurants. In the ground floor a restaurant (Not from the same group) is there with good food quality. However, rooms are not clean and spacious. Smell of Cigarette Odor are there every where. AC was not working, latter the mgmt corrected the same. Staffs are good and courteous.

This the first time i am staying this hotel every thing is good particularly food.I think they're not promoting the hotel name.why, means i don't know their giving breakfast compliment.If their promoting all those thing's it is the best one in that area.
