My stay was truly exceptional from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm smile from Rajeswari ma'am, who instantly made me feel at home. The front desk team was equally welcoming, with Shimoli doing a fantastic job ensuring a smooth experience.||The housekeeping team was always attentive and readily available, offering impeccable service. A special shoutout to Saista Khanum for her dedication and care.||When it came to dining, the restaurant staff were simply outstanding. Chefs Lilly and Narmada were always there, ensuring we had delicious meals, especially catering to my little one's needs. Service-wise, Anam went above and beyond to provide an exceptional experience.||Every team member contributed to making my stay truly memorable. Thank you to all for your kindness and hard work!

I have the most pleasant experience staying in Taj Wellington Chennai. It was truly a home away from home. Well appointed rooms with all basic facilities like a fully functional kitchenette, large rooms and very comfy beds.|Beyond the aesthetics, My stay was made special by the warmth of people who work at Taj. From the check in to check out everything was about me and my comfort. Mehul was the second employee whom I had interaction at the bar. He made sure that my lunch was served at the bar at my comfort rather than me walking towards the buffet area. These are things which are done to make your comfort a priority which was done without me asking for it. Next day at the breakfast too Mehul was genuinely warm with him walking to the pantry and getting me a juice which again I didn't ask for and ordered a dosa before I could go to the counter and order . No words can define the hospitality extended by this gentleman.|Next employee I interacted was with Sushmita from Spa services. She too was very warm and did her job well. She had magical hands. I truly believe that these are things done beyond the line of duty.|Thank you once again team to make my stay a memory. Looking forward to stay with you guys next time too. This was our 2nd visit, and will definitely not be our last. Customer service is the best in their tier, they have the most helpful group of staff. Special thanks to Ms.Rajeshwari who remembered the conversations from our previous stay 7 months ago, which says something about the overall experience. Tried the in-room dining this time - the right portions, quality food. Keep up the great work ladies [and the few men around :)].

Grate ambience and atmosphere present within the location. Had a great space to interact with other guests and our office team. The food was good in terms of the many options available but can be improved in terms of quality and taste. The appetizers were great. Main course and desert can be improved.

Our recent stay at the hotel was made truly unforgettable by the extraordinary culinary talents of Asian Chef Mahendra. Every dish he crafted was a perfect balance of flavor, presentation, and authenticity. From Mapo Tofu, Pineapple rice, to rich, aromatic curries, his menu showcased both technical mastery and a deep understanding of Asian cuisine. Chef Mahendra's warm presence and passion for food were evident in every bite. I had the pleasure of staying at Taj Wellington Mews, Chennai, while attending a marriage party, and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. The rooms are incredibly spacious and maintained in spotless condition, reflecting the high standards of luxury and cleanliness that Taj is known for. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, ensuring a seamless and pleasant stay. The ambience of the hotel is truly mesmerizing, with elegant interiors and a warm, welcoming vibe. The culinary experience was outstanding--the presentation of dishes was exquisite, and the flavors were absolutely delightful. Every dish was prepared with great attention to detail, making the dining experience truly memorable. Parking was not an issue at all, as the hotel has a huge two-level underground parking facility, which easily accommodates a large number of vehicles. The party hall was spacious and well-organized, comfortably accommodating over 500 guests. The decor and arrangements were top-notch, creating a perfect setting for a grand celebration. Overall, my stay at Taj Wellington Mews was a luxurious and enjoyable experience. Whether for an event, a stay, or fine dining, this place exceeds expectations in every aspect. I recently stayed at Taj Wellington Mews in Chennai, and unfortunately, my experience was far below the expectations typically associated with the Taj brand. From the moment of arrival, the service was underwhelming. Despite booking in advance, there was no greeting or assistance from the security or staff at the gates. I had to step out, open my car trunk, and hand over the luggage myself--something I've never had to do at any other Taj property. There was no welcome drink or gesture at the check-in counter either, which is usually a hallmark of Taj hospitality. Upon reaching my room, I noticed the cookie jar--which has always been a small but appreciated touch in other Taj hotels--was missing. I then headed to the pool, only to find it disappointingly small in both length and width. The breakfast experience the next morning continued the trend. The spread was quite limited compared to other Taj properties, and the counters were small and crowded. The restaurant staff seemed rushed and inattentive. Simple requests for items like Yakult, cashews, or juices were repeatedly forgotten, and I had to follow up multiple times. There was little sense of warmth or attentiveness from the staff, and it felt like they were just going through the motions. Even during checkout, there was no enquiry about my stay or if I had any feedback. I was simply handed a small elephant souvenir. While a kind gesture in itself, it did little to make up for the service lapses. The departure process was frustrating--staff handled the luggage roughly and even opened the rear seats of my car without asking. They were trying to force all the bags into the trunk instead of checking with me first. I had to intervene, reattach the seats, and instruct them on how to arrange the luggage. Overall, this stay was a letdown, especially considering my consistently positive experiences with other Taj hotels. The lack of warmth, coordination, and attention to detail was very surprising and disappointing.
