ST Parklane Airport Hotel Chennai

I had a very disappointing experience at Hotel St. Parklane Airport Hotel. The service was far below expectations -- staff were unresponsive and lacked basic courtesy. The cleanliness of the rooms was unacceptable, and the amenities advertised were either not available or poorly maintained. Despite its convenient location near the airport, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. I would not recommend this hotel to others, especially for travelers looking for comfort, hygiene, and professional service.

We had an unpleasant experience here. The AC in the room was not fully functional and was unable to cool the room. After reporting about this issue, 2 different staff came to check and said everything is fine just give some time. After lot of effort to convince them, they finally believed and gave us another room in the middle of the night. The new room had a non-functional digital lock and only way to enter the room was with a physical key. They didn't make our room even after requesting for it. Cons: - Poor location in slum area. Getting a cab/auto is extremely difficult. - Non-cooperative staff which is mostly not dedicated per department resulting in poor customer service. - Poorly maintained rooms and facilities. The bath towels were so worn out and non-absorbent. Pros: - In-house restaurant is decent and reasonably priced. - Complementary pickup and drop to the airport.

Only one word for this hotel - terrible 1. Airport shuttle took 45min to pick us up, after we had picked up our luggage. So we waited that long with 2 kids. 2. We booked the suite and paid more than 7k for it. However, after entering the room, turned out the flush is not working. So we had to change the room at 1am and turns out the flush doesn't work there as well. After pressing on the buttons for almost 10 times with all our might, the flush starts filling up. This needed to be done after each flush. 3. Toilet was dirty and looks like it has never been cleaned. 4. Pillow covers and blankets were dirty. Towels provided were atleast 10 years old. 5. Extra bed provided, but apparently the hotel doesn't have any extra pillows or blankets 6. Heavily understaffed with only 2 people are night, 1 driver and 1 receptionist I won't blame the staff. It's clear that the hotel owners are pocketing the profits and not paying for the maintenance of the hotel. A couple of good points. 1. Breakfast buffet was good 2. Restaurant waiters were polite.

Had booked 5 rooms for overnight stay as I had early morning flight next day. Out of 5, AC wasn't working in 2 rooms and hotel staff insisted that it would work automatically in sometime (which never did). Water leaking in toilets, door lock didn't work and staff was very rude when we complained about the same. Breakfast was not that great either. The only good thing about the place is it's proximity to airport and complimentary pickup/drop service.

A nice place, close to the airport for a reasonable price. After travelling for 6 weeks by road, we just wanted a place to stop and rest before flying out. We stayed for 4 nights. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The restaurant had a good variety for all and they adjusted to our taste. Thank you for everything. Much appreciated. Suhag.

This hotel is located conveniently close to Chennai International/Domestic airport for transit passengers. The restaurant is good for vegetarian food items. (Non veg be avoided). Car parking is available.

The staff are extremely helpful, polite and curious. A warm welcome was extended by the reception team. Arrived early for check in, but the room was made available. Great location, closee by to the airport and the hotel provided a shuttle service to the terminal. Good value for money for a short trip.
