SPM Hotel

Better avoid this place. I would be rating in negative if there is an option. Zero positive feedback from my end. I stayed here to attend a family event . This place is old and the rooms are very small, you can see the walls are damaged at most of the places, the cement and paint peels off from everywhere. The bathroom was very dirty, the bucket and mug provided was full of dirt. I stayed in room 109, the flush in the commode and hot water faucet didn't work and I had to check with the receptionist to get it repaired. I had to struggle with the sliding wardrobe door to open and close as the quality and condition of the wardrobe was very bad. There was no bathroom kit provided, no extra blanket or no extra pillow. The price for this AC room is around 2000 and not very worth a penny. The ceiling fan and AC are placed in a way that you won't feel the coolness in Chennai's weather. You also need to keep in mind that you cannot sleep before 12AM if you are staying on a Friday/Saturday night as there will be heavy noises from the DJ floor of 1st floor where there is a Retro pub. Don't feel at the trap that this place is on the main road which has good connectivity and 24hrs check-in/checkout. You will end up regretting it. There is no point in having 24 hrs checkin/checkout when the condition of the place is very bad. Not sure how these people are running without any maintenance.

Had a pleasant stay. The room was quite clean and fresh.

Rooms were very small and just queen beds which is very small. There was no room service or WiFi. It's not even a full fledged hotel. Reception was not fully operational. They just give a number to call. There was no water in any of the rooms and we had to call some number to get the motor started. Only one towel was given and they had no extra towels. Tv wasnt working. No toiletries were provided. Location was also not so great. There is a pub just above the hotel and continuous noise till midnight - you can't even sleep properly.

Nice rooms....price also ok...neat and clean, near by bus stop & restaurant also available....wifi good...safe & security

Rooms are too small not good for a family. There is a resto bar on the first floor. A good option is the good veg restaurant at the front. Blankets are with stains and water Flow was very low. Handflush was only for name sake. Parking space is good

No Service, No Wifi, Non working TV, No Toiletteries, No Staff, No Drinking Water...basically nothing. Only a Room with AC, Bed and Blanket Only positive - Room was decent and Veg Restaurant on Ground Floor Overpriced for this kind of accomodation.
