SKM Regency. Chennai, Periyamet

Was there on February 2025. It's located near to Central Metro 1-2 minutes walking distance. Rooms are clean and maintained and friendly staff. Contact no available in my photos and can be booked directly for better price. Entry road to the Hotel is very embarrassing and only negative thing. There is no restaurant in the hotel but outside the hotel many food options are available. Reception is in the ground floor. Lift is there. TV, Telephone, free Wi-Fi, Drinking Water, Soap, Shampoo and Tea cattle available in the room. Water heater available in the wash Room. AC is available in the room.

The cleanliness is very good comparing other hotels with simialr price. Bathroom is good and clean. Room is little tiny, but all necessary amenties are included. wifi working well. Staff is helpful. Location is good and close to major places. Easy to find good tasty foods.

Located in very dirty area...no proper security...staff are not professional... hospitality is worst...non ventilated room full of dirty smell...this is a honest review... people take money and review these kind of hotel with five star rating.... before booking it's better if we visit the place prior and check in..

The hotel was very good and the behavior of the staff was So nice, totally satisfied.. Entire services was Excellent..room were neat and clean.

I stayed at SKM Regency in Feb 25 with family and it was an excellent experience i recommend travellers to choose SKM Regency for their stay in Chennai !

Just okay in that price range..,can get a quick refreshment or short stay. I booked a queen bed but they provide two single beds and say , AC is always on in the queen bedroom due to a mechanical issue. And the TV is not working due to the local cable connection.and they give a single blanket for two beds and gave another after requesting. Service is good ,rooms are also somewhat comfortable, so can stay for short.

Don't book this hotel under any circumstances. They will ruin your plans and happiness. I booked a room over the phone, and they confirmed my booking, but later denied it and acted like they never had the booking. The hotel feels more like a lodge, unprofessional, and not safe for families.
