A Disappointing Stay at Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Chennai My recent stay at the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Chennai, I was unfortunately marred by significant issues that detract from what should be expected of a 3-star hotel experience. Safety Concerns:The most pressing concern was the inadequate safety measures at the terrace swimming pool. The lack of proper barriers or secure fencing created a potentially hazardous environment, particularly for families with children. This is a fundamental safety requirement that was not met. Dining Experience:The dining experience was also unsatisfactory. Lunch on the first day featured stale food lacking in flavor and freshness. The breakfast served was even more troubling, as the sausages were rotten. This serious issue was brought to the attention of management. Staff Response:While staff acknowledged the problems, the overall handling of these situations did not meet the standards one expects from a Wyndham property. Overall:While the hotel may offer basic amenities, the serious safety lapses at the pool and the unacceptable food quality make it difficult to recommend. Significant improvements in these areas are necessary.

I've enjoyed my stay here, in total two weeks. I've stayed several weeks at other hotels in this area of Chennai and this has been my best experience. Everything is sufficient for a business traveler: rooms are spacious, cleaning is good, staff is friendly and proactively helpful, WiFi works, gym has good variety of equipment, there are always extra towels and water bottles. The room service is slower than others, but food is pretty good. I used laundry service a lot and appreciate that there was no powerful fragrance on my clothes when returned. I especially enjoyed sitting on the rooftop terrace - nice view and good breeze. Thanks to the Ramada team for a good stay!

It was a great trip to chennai while staying at Ramada Plaza. Starting with a welcome drink during check-in. The rooms are quite big, neat and clean, high-tech and finally a large window for a great view of Chennai. Lights are quite lazy in any mode, and can be modified after reviewing by management. Dinner is preferable on the rooftop, music, cricket, great view and delicious food with non-alcoholic or alcoholic drinks. There are limited food varieties for dinner. The swimming pool is quite large, clean and has great views. The only disappointing thing is that the kids were trained during the same when room guests are swimming, which made me somewhere it can be changed as trainers are arguing for floats. Timing for kids and guests can be modified accordingly by management to have better comfort for guests. The breakfast is served in various types. It is very healthy and delicious. During room booking it is recommended to consider the breakfast included.

Very good service with very good food. The hoteliers were very polite and well mannered. The venue for the event was well organised and had everything prepared and ready to go on arrival. The place was very comfortable as well. |Would definitely give this a good star

Great location and decent rooms. Service could be better. I felt they were a bit slow during expected peak hours. Staff should be ready at the reception in the morning expecting a high flow for checkout. Their general attitude was fine. Service for breakfast was great. I needed a piece of packing tape last minute and I would have expected them to keep it. I also felt that there was an expectation of tipping which I don't mind but then it should not be expected always.

Recently I stayed at Ramada Plaza Chennai, thanks to its great hospitality and comfort, i did not feel like I was away from home thanks to Anjili, whose exceptional service and warm hospitality made my visit truly memorable. She went above and beyond to ensure a seamless experience. A big thank you to Nadnani, Pinki, Lalrine, and Matee for their attentive and friendly service. The dining experience was fantastic, with Chef Suresh serving delicious meals and Chef Shrinivash serving what I ask for. The rooms were well-maintained, and the hotel's location was convenient. Overall, a fantastic experience--I highly recommend it and look forward to returning!

Overall, I had a good experience during my extended stay. The suite was a little dated, but well kept and very clean. The buffets were good but lacked variety. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all very similar and became boring after a few days. The location was great for my purposes. The front desk, restaurant, and cleaning staff were nice and helpful nearly always. My only complaint was the laundry service I needed for the second time. The first laundry service was great. My clothes were retrieved quickly and delivered a few hours later. No issues. The second experience was not so good. I called for laundry at 7:30am and waited until 9am but nobody came to pick up my clothes. I left for the day only to return in the afternoon to find my laundry had still not been retrieved. I called again and this time had to request express service at twice the cost as I would check-out a few hours later. The clothes were returned promptly but were stained, an issue I didn't have time to address. I explained my disappointment with the express laundry fees when I checked out and requested a discount for the trouble. It took 45 minutes to negotiate and reduce the charges, my scheduled cab was waiting the whole time, and I was running late to get to the airport.
