Pine Tree Boutique Hotel - Near US Consulate & Apollo Hospital

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, especially for anyone visiting the US Consulate in Chennai - it's just a 5-minute walk (around 500 meters). The staff was friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. My room was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities. Breakfast was fresh and had a good variety. It's a safe and convenient place to stay, and I'd definitely recommend it for consulate-related visits.

The entire stay was good and conformtable. Reasonable price for the stay compared to other nearby places. Staff are polite and attentive. Location is very convenient and a prime stay spot for people visiting US consulate.

Very small room, only one dim light, tv not working, ac remote almost dysfunctional, washroom is okayish, toilet seat is at abnormal high set. Booked it for 2000 almost got anxiety, good hotels are there in the vicinity shifted to one of them after one night. Overall okayish can stay but 2000 rupees is overpriced.. Can book if getting for less than 1700. Don't book if claustrophobic. Location is great airport and railway and kamraj arangam easily accessible.

I stayed at Pine Tree Hotel on April 22 and 23, 2025, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The moment we entered the room, it was suffocating -- we could barely breathe. The room smelled awful, the AC was not working, and there were pigeon droppings near the window. The bathroom was in terrible condition -- honestly, it was disgusting. Since we checked in around 11:30 PM, we had no choice but to stay as it was too late to find another hotel. When we requested a bottle of water, the staff treated us very rudely, as if we were staying there for free.(disclaimer we were ready to pay for the bottel) The overall attitude(typical north indian attitude) and service were unacceptable. Definitely not visiting again. Would not recommend to anyone.

Decent rooms at this budget and location is good and accessible but it's not a 3 star hotel as mentioned it's kind of Oyo rooms ....worst breakfast they only serve idli daily no tea and any other extra breakfast

For the price range, the hotel was okay, and cleanly. The location of the hotel was in a smaller street, and the rooms were much smaller and didn't look anything like in the photos. But service was good as the manager at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Bottom line: it's good enough if you are looking to solo travel or something cheap. Better book something expensive if you are looking for more spacious/luxurious rooms

Very small hotel. Not like d pics shown in Portals. Rooms r very very very small. Can't even stand properly. Bathroom also very small. No Dental kits provided. No soap. Only one dirty bottle of liquid soap is being kept which u does not even like to touch. Towels not clean. Bed Sheets dirty. Staff not at all supportive No good restaurants outside to have food We had taken complimentary breakfast which they purchased from outside road side vendors and gave, great. No value for money paid Not at all

Stayed here for two nights, and while we understand there was a language barrier, our experience was disappointing. We left the room to go out and handed over the key at the front desk, asking them to clean the room and take out the trash. When we returned, we noticed that some of our belongings were missing, though the rest of our items were still there. While the missing items weren't expensive, it's the principle of trust that matters. A hotel should prioritize security and ensure guests feel safe with their belongings.
