Parklane Airport Hotel Chennai

I booked this hotel in a hurry through MakeMyTrip, mainly because it was close to the airport. I didn't have time to check the reviews--something I truly regret now. What followed was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I've ever had.||I landed at 12 AM and immediately called the hotel for the complimentary airport pickup. Even though the hotel is just 1.5 km away, the cab arrived only at 1 AM--leaving me waiting for a full hour late at night. And what arrived wasn't even a proper cab, but a run-down van that looked more like it was used for transporting supplies than guests.||To make things worse, the driver took a detour to pick up another guest from a metro station, making the experience even more frustrating and unprofessional.||The hotel is located in a very congested and poorly maintained area. While it may not be a big issue for solo travelers, I would not recommend it for families--the surroundings may feel uncomfortable or unsafe to some. Unfortunately, things didn't improve inside the room either--leaking taps, cockroaches, and an overall lack of cleanliness made the stay even more unpleasant.||I had paid for complimentary breakfast but ended up checking out by 6:30 AM, skipping it entirely because I just didn't feel comfortable staying any longer. I later checked the reviews online and realized that many others had similar complaints. I wish I had read them beforehand.||This hotel is not worth the money, the stress, or its 3-star rating.||Uncomfortable and congested location||Misleading pick-up service||Poor hygiene and room maintenance||Unprofessional staff and management||I strongly suggest avoiding this hotel. Very disappointed that it's still listed on major booking platforms.

Very unprofessional. None in the hotel to help. There was no hot water. Hotel promises free airport transfer. For our group of 15 people they had only one Maruti van to transfer from airport. |None was telling the transfer arrangement from hotel to airport for a morning international flight. They have only one driver for 2 vehicles. They were saying a 10 seater van can carry 15 people with luggage||With continuous talking over nearly 90 minutes, promised to provide a driver and a van for next day morning . After the 1st trip carrying 9 people, hotel wanted to provide a small Maruti van for 6 people..||Very unsatisfactory service

The AC was not working as it was making lotta noise and no proper air circulation hence the smell in the room was unbearable . The hotel is near a slum area which by making the hotel unsuitable for family and couples. Moreover they denied the complimentary Airport drop after the stay . pathetic and irresponsible behaviour from the hotel staffs. They charge extra for even the complimentary water bottles also and now wen Im reading reviews many ppl had faced such issues. Extremely dissatisfied

Rooms are full of dust, strong cigarette smell, noisy environment. Soiled linen, washroom is smelling like drainage, breakfast is of poor quality. Front office staff were too worst in handling customers. They are so rude to customers, using unparliamentary language. They are charging 3,500 per room per day.. but actually it doesn't cost more than 1000 per day for the quality and amenities they provide and the way they behave. Never ever go to this hotel even if they provide it free of cost.

Very unprofessional...The small airport pick up van squeezed 5 people ( men and women) along with 4 suitcases. Same thing happened in the next morning for the airport drop for 6 people with luggage. We had to complain very hard before they brought a bigger vehicle.||The bathroom is slippery. Toilet a bit stained. They keep only one glass and cup in the room. We had to ask for more for the couple.||Don't recommend this hotel at all... Staff, especially, driver not courteous.||Fixtures not well maintained.||Poor value for money. Avoid!!!

People seem to choose this hotel due to its close proximity to the Airport. Apart from this single reason, there is no other reason why anyone would book it. Rooms are clean and tidy. The food was good, and the staff at the restaurant were hospitable. Had a bad experience with booking a Force traveler for personal use. And the staff response for this particular issue was pathetic. Taking into consideration that it could happen to anyone at any place, the way the staff dealt with the issue was not acceptable. Otherwise, the overall stay was pleasant. Negatives: 1. Poor parking space. You'll have to leave your car key at the lobby. Please do so, if you want an uninterrupted 6hrs of sleep at night. 2. The approach road via Parthiban road is good. The other road will take you through an area that will appear nothing less than slums. Better to avoid this.

Hotel review- cross way park lane- Chennai I would like to rate it something even less than 1 star. My experience was that bad. I saw the average ratings and booked it but my experience was worse than average. I booked this hotel for my flight the next day early morning at 3am. Cleanliness: The bedding was so bad and at night I myself killed 2 bed bugs. The washrooms were not clean either Hotel staff: The most irresponsible hotel staffs I have ever seen. The night earlier we ate dinner and paid the bills, we also paid the breakfast bills then and there. During checkout they demand money for all this without checking anything. My dad had to call the staffs to whom he paid and show receipts to make sure that the bills were paid. Accessibility: The only advantage this hotel has is, its beside the airport and they provide free cabs to the airport. There are no good restaurants or public transport facilities beside it. Since there were no good restaurants beside it we had dinner in the restaurant. The made a very very bad dosa and a watery sambhar. The chutney was equally watery and when we asked the waiter said its their usual custom to mix water in chutney to give. On further complaints they gave a thicker chutney which was not great either. Overall I would not recommend this hotel for anyone unless it's a 5-6hours stay before flight.

The hotel impressed with its modern decor and spacious rooms. The staff's professionalism and willingness to assist added to the overall positive experience. The diverse amenities, including a well-equipped fitness center, contributed to a thoroughly enjoyable stay. In summary, a highly recommended hotel.
