0 Star I give to this hotel- "Disappointing Stay, Rude owner" NO HUMANITY. THE OWNER IS NOT FIT TO BE HUMAN BEING. :( :( :( Our stay was ruined by the rude and not courtesy staff and owner. Not sensitive to elderly and high BP suffering person. They were forcing us and chasing us out instead of caring for the elderly patient in the room. Did not oblige to give just 15 mins of AC to relax as we had crossed the check out time due to health issues. 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 As there is no option to reply to your inhuman /coldhearted comment, I am adding my answer to your comment here. 1. Your comment - people's has to understand the rules and regulations of the premises and have some common sense to know the timing of check in and check out. My reply - For good human beings, Humanity comes before anything. Even after I conveyed to you that a old person has health issues, you are sticking to rules, regulations, check in time, check out time. You are proving with your comment that you really lack humanity and kindness. Please grow up to that level for your future customers and your loved ones. 2. Your comment - We have given grace period of 1 hr and still you complaint. My reply - You are LYING you already gave us 1 hour time. Yes, I agree I came little late but not at 12:45 like you said. I came there much before 12:30. I called you at 12:30 itself asking you to give us JUST 15 MINUTES AC till we pack our things up and shift to the next room with our relative (who is staying in the next room) and my mom could relax in that time. What you would have lost if you had given that 10-15 mins of AC. You SAVED AC current money the previous day itself as we checked in at 9:30 night instead of morning 11 (check in). 3. Your comment- We have clearly informed you and the person who have booked that we have rooms booked at 1pm so you have to vacate by 12 pm. When it is clearly mentioned and multiple remainders we have given you have come leisurely and complain against us. Our next customer who is suppose to come check in by 1pm and still you have not vacated by 1pm and we have clean and get elready the rooms. MY REPLY- Again lying, I came back to the (relative) retained room around 2 to pick my things from and I saw that the room that we were chased out was STILL VACANT. Nobody had checked in. WHAT clearly mentioned and multiple remainders, etc....You MUST have obliged on a humanity basis when I told you about health issues. Your attitude is NOT worth 1/2 star, but I am forced to give 1 star to submit my review comments. If something had happened to my mom will you be responsible. 4. Your comment - For eg. As you say if there is same old BP suffering person coming at 1pm do u expect hik to wait outside. MY REPLY - You are speaking about "hypothetical situation" where you will get or expect a hypertension-suffering customer instead of acting human to the person who is suffering in real time there. Even if there is a customer at 1 p.m. like you said, you can still accommodate that person in other rooms that were vacant. I REITERATE You don't have humanity because You have to act kind the person who is suffering NOT assume that a health issue person MIGHT check in at 1 p.m. NOBODY follows the rules and regulations, if there is life and death problem, except for a coldhearted person like you. At the end, I just asked for 15 mins of AC till my mom relaxes and we pack our things and shift our things to other room. I did not ask you to extend our time. Your ""inhuman nature"" is depicted because you are still showing your rigidity about following useless inhuman rules about checking in and checking out time when an elderly person has health issues. I saw your old customer's comments too. You are NOT WORTH spending my precious time making you understand or justify. Nobody is happy with your attitude. HOPE YOU WILL CHANGE FOR GOOD IN LIFE. Never take rooms here. Never! Staffs are ok, but the owner, Yuvaraj is very rude, unprofessional and too stupid. I have never encountered in my life such a person with low IQ. Rooms are cramped and untidy, not worth the rate. Stay away to avoid bad experience from such arrogant peoples. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Since there is no option to reply, consider this as my reply to your response. Now you are proving that you are not just dumb but a liar too. Who was not willing to hear the explanation? You or me? Huh? Who are you trying to fool, Mr.? You said that another person was not allowed in the same room. Okay, I got it. You also said that I needed to inform the local police. Okay, I got it. Then I told you to clear the checkout procedure of the current room and provide another room for me and the new person. We were ready to provide any valid identity documet. But you were rude and reluctant to hear what I was saying, arrogantly saying, "This is my property and you can't stay here." How can someone say such rude things to customers? Learn some manners, you arrogant person. Secondly, you made us open the luggage of my friend right in front of the reception to check the bag? Who the hell are you to do that? Who gave you permission for that? Mr. owner, first understand that we didn't come to your home asking for accommodation. We went to a lodge, whose lone purpose is to provide rooms for customers. Learn some professional etiquette. Learn how to behave politely to customers. Actually, I was about to inform the police, but my friend stopped me, saying that we should not waste our valuable time on useless people like this. Just leave it. Don't ever prefer this rooms I booked the all rooms (13 rooms ) on 8 th June 2023 one of the worst room service given by them 6 rooms full of disgusting smell when we asked for room spray room service guy bought a phenol mixed with water and he spared in the room all of us felt like puking when we asked why r doing like this room service guys said if u want stay here or u can leave the room in a rude manner. I made booking for my marriage and made my close relative to stay there receptionist keep on saying checkout time by 11 am on 9 th to each and every individual even to a 15 aged my cousins brother also even though I have talked before to receptionist about checkout time and everything they did like this. There of my relative shifted to some other property because of their room service and the way he speaks please don't prefer this room.
In my life I have travelled many places and visited many lodges but in this lodge I had a worst experience in reception. Receptionist speaking to me very lethargic and he is asking baseless questions which is irritating. Finally he told "Room venna na poda".
Good and neat place, best for family stay and for bachelor's there are separate rooms in top floor There are 3 different types of rooms in KNR Grand. 4 peoples stay with two double beds cost 2500 A/C 2000 non AC, 3 peoples stay with double beds and additional bed 2300 Ac and 1800 for non AC, and 2 peoples stay with one double bed cost 2000 for AC and 1500 for non AC. Drawback is rules, i booked 5 rooms for my family, but they won't allow other room mate in another room. Its very silly that my family can't stay in a room which I paid Please like this review, your one like will motivate me to review more places.
I wanna ty....for giving me such a pleasant stay at chennai.. "Great location.... clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay ....are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and guidance.... nd good customer service in all areas.. I really appreciated your team work...

Iam from Madurai , been a regular visitor to Madhavaram ,Chennai for my business links , I have stayed in almost all the Lodges in and around 5 Kms radius from Madhavaram .Comparing all other Lodges , stay at KNR GRANDS was a wonderful experience ,Neat and Tidy rooms , good ventilation and fresh air , well mannered soft spoken Staffs ,good hospitalty , room rates are reasonable and negoitable and many more brilliant features.
