Jai Palace

Booked a room online for a day which is from 12 PM to next day 12 PM. We unfortunately reached Tambaram by 8 AM and checked in by around 9 AM. They charged additional 550/- for early check-in and the AC in the room didn't turn on for 30 mins. We have checked out room by 12 PM which means this is the actual time out booking starts, we asked them for a water bottle, the next day they have made a phone call and asked to pay 20/- to the water bottle and sent a QR code in whatsapp. They literally behaved worst, even road side food stalls or low class tiffin centers also provide water. The room costed around 1600/- ( for 24 hours) and we paid additionally 550/- ( for 3 hours) but we stayed only for 3 hours. They didn't even denied asking for 20/-. The location is around 1 KM from railway station. Its good and nearby, food stalls nearby are available. The room is too small. It can never be called as a deluxe room. There is a double cott bed and a dressing table. Its just a size of master bedroom in 2BHK with attached bathroom. Nothing more than that. Not worth enough for the cost.

I read the reviews and went there but the bathroom is not clean. They charged fake prices.worst experience. No ethical values and cheat their customers.we stayed only five hours but you charged more price than the regular price. I didn't understand your selfish concepts.you just want to grab money from customers in many possible ways. if i enter with third party apps the early check-in concepts will be applicable but we enter directly still you charged extra.

Scam! Alert!!! The hotel staff misguided me regarding room rent and charged extra money. You will see cockroaches , snails , tons of mosquitoes in rooms. Avoid at all cost

Good rooms with excellent services , receptionist attitude is so polite , and there's no disturbance annol

We stayed at this place two times already and we are very satisfied with the service. It's in a good location, but still located in a smaller, more quiet side street. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You can ask them any question and they are always at your service. The rooms are tidy, the bed is comfortable and the bathroom is clean. The second time we called them to request a room in the middle of the night, because another hotel had overbooked and wouldn't accommodate us. Again Jai Palace was very helpful and we eventually checked in at 1 am. Definitely recommended!

Lodge is located nearest to Tambaram Railway Station. Room rentals are quite high, but well maintained.

A small hotel with budget friendly rooms. Bathroom & toilet is clean but no geyser. The main plus point of this hotel would be its prime location as it's walkable from Tambaram bus stand and just opposite to Tambaram railway station. The rooms are very cosy and has quite a neat bathroom. No geyser but it's clean for a budget friendly hotel. The hotel did not have have the food provision but has soft drinks in the reception which can be consumed and added to the room bill.

Bottled water needs to be paid for! Never experienced this before.
