#Nightmare Stay - Avoid at All Costs! I wish I could give this place zero stars. From the moment we arrived, it was a disaster. The check-in process took forever because the staff seemed completely untrained and disorganized. When we finally got to our room, it was filthy--stained sheets, hair in the shower, and a terrible smell of dampness. To make matters worse, the air conditioning was broken, and despite multiple complaints, no one bothered to fix it. The walls were paper-thin, and we could hear everything from the neighboring rooms, making sleep impossible. Breakfast was a joke--stale bread, cold coffee, and barely edible food. The worst part? The staff was rude and dismissive, acting like they were doing us a favor by even acknowledging our complaints. I have stayed in budget hotels before, but this was beyond unacceptable. If you value cleanliness, comfort, and basic hospitality, stay far away from this place. I had an absolutely terrible experience at Hotel Thaj Residency. Speaking of the staff, they were rude and completely unhelpful. They seemed annoyed by even the simplest requests and acted like they were doing us a favor by letting us stay there. On top of that, they overcharged me and refused to honor the booking price. Breakfast was another disaster--stale food and cold tea that wasn't even drinkable. This place is a complete scam, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Hotel Thaj Residency! They already have connections with Taxi driver, who pickup you from Nearby any Station. Who first talk to you very sweetly. But when you arrived the hotel,they started showing their original face.

Service is 0 Rooms are of toilet size so toilet you can just imagine Location kinda good Final opinion : totally waste of money and my trip has been a shit after staying here.. + there is something wrong and scary here too.

I had a terrible experience at Hotel Thaz Regency in Chennai. The staff and manager were extremely rude and unprofessional, making the stay unpleasant from the start. The cleanliness of the hotel was shockingly poor -- the bedsheets were dirty and stained, which was unacceptable. On top of that, there was no proper hygiene maintenance, and no clinic or medical assistance was available in case of emergencies. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. It's clear that management needs to seriously improve their service and cleanliness standards. Avoid this place if you're looking for a comfortable and respectful stay

Thaj Regency Hotel is an absolute disgrace and one of the worst hotels in Chennai. They are nothing but scammers, working with taxi and auto drivers to trick travelers from trains and flights into staying here. They promise a good stay, but it's all a lie. The staff is disgustingly rude, treating guests like trash once the payment is made. The rooms are filthy, the bedsheets are stained, and the entire place reeks of poor hygiene. It's clear they don't care about cleanliness or customer satisfaction. On top of that, they are in cahoots with taxi drivers to overcharge people. Paying 900 for a mere 4 km ride is highway robbery. Avoid this pathetic excuse of a hotel at all costs.

Not a Good place to be. No proper air circulation. Bathroom not good. Wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there.

The advertised Wi-Fi barely worked, and the noise from the neighboring rooms made it impossible to sleep. The rooms are good the staff is good and a very cheap stay near marina beach 500 for 2 person check out time is 24 hour

The worst one that I have visited ever I requested for early check-in he denied and when I have asked that I could wait in the lobby also he denied so atlast charged for Rs.200 that's ok The room is not good and the bed is full of bed bugs No laundry available No affordable room service No towel no soap Not even complementary water bottle not even general drinking water I would not recommend this hotel to anyone i wish I could give negative rating for the hotel
