HOTEL SPARK RESIDENCY

I trusted the positive reviews and booked three rooms a week prior. I was ready to pay the advance amount and they said that they will collect the amount on the checkin day only. Just one day before when I called them they simply said room is not available. It was a nightmare. Not even deserve a single star. Don't ever trust and don't go by reviews here.

Very worst experience i ever seen, Receptionist behave over attitude and not response properly. And he looks very rude, bad looking and Even the speech is not correct. I don't like to stay at the place next time, because of the disrespectful words of the receptionist. ***

Rooms are good at an affordable price. If any issues do exist in any of the rooms, they are being fixed which is good. The snacks options are good for satisfying hunger. In Spark Cafe alone, it is not a pleasant experience. People are smoking inside and just outside the cafe constantly. It is tough for non smokers to go inside and get food as we are being made to smoke indirectly unwillingly. Unable to even open room window as smoking is happening constantly just outside. Requesting your help to ensure people who buy cigarettes take the cigarette some distance away from hotel and smoke. This will help other people enjoy the food at Spark Cafe better.

Good rooms and budget friendly. Complimentary breakfast can be improved.

Rating behalf of my parents. They visited this hotel and they were impressed and fully satisfied with the services and everything about it. The location, Staff, Hotel and facilities. Worth every penny. It was their 1st time there in Chennai.

Very Decent in my I have gas stove..it's very helpfull..

Negatives: 1. Worst Experience: The stay at the Spark Hotel Residency Perumbakkam was one of the worst I have ever stayed in. 2. Lack of basic toiletries: the absence of essential items like toothpaste and toothbrushes. Despite paying a room rate of Rs. 1568, the hotel failed to provide these basic amenities. The hotel shall reconsider this, which is basic. 3. Suitability for different guests: The hotel seems more suitable for bachelors or solo travellers, but not for married couples. 4. The unpleasant smell of the bed and bedsheets--the strong odor emanating from the bed and bedsheets. 5. Disappointing complimentary breakfast: dissatisfied with the quality of the breakfast provided. 6. Room service: The bed sheet and cover have not been changed, which implies a lack of maintenance. Positives: 1. They allowed me to check in early, at 10am. 2. Hot water worked 3. AC was working well The overall experience of staying was not pleasant. The owner will give substantiate, as the hotel is best in class and has a 4+ rating. Before he says falsely, I didn't stay here; I stayed in this hotel with my wife from February 24th to 25th, 2024. It is completely unsuitable for a family stay.

The hotel is near Gleneagles hospital. And 5 minutes away from Sholinganallur junction. We enquired over phone and booked a room for 4. But the triple room didn't had enough space to put an extra bed. We had to move the furniture and make space. Hotel staff didn't fix the bed. The bathroom fittings were too rusty that we were afraid to use them. Water was so hard and salty. For the complementary breakfast, they just room delivered 9 idlis (3 per head), chutney and sambar for the four of us. They don't consider the extra person. And the plates and tea pot were too dirty. So eat from outside. Speaking of that, there is no good place to eat nearby. So you may have to go to OMR to get some decent food. The road leading to this place is not so good, and neighbourhood is not near. So keep that in mind.
