Hotel O Karapakkam, Chennai

Intentionally I encountered numerous problems during my stay. Firstly, the property's location was incorrectly advertised, leading to confusion and inconvenience. They intentionally keep this incorrect location. Secondly, despite presenting my Booking.com reservation details, including the booking ID, the staff refused to accept the online price. This was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. Thirdly, the room was substandard. The heater was non-functional, the beds were of poor quality, the air conditioning was inadequate, and there was a significant mosquito infestation. Finally, the property's remote location, with no nearby restaurants or stores within a 2-kilometer radius, made it very inconvenient."

Booked because reviews on booking.com were super good. Couldn't find the place first but in the end after calling them through the booking.com application we were able to find the hotel. Arrived at the place we got rudely refushed because we were foreigners and they don't host foreigners. It was not mentioned anywhere and it was late at night but they were not gonna help us any further.

Place doesn't exist here. Had a local helping me in trying to find it, we asked around, checked every nearby street but couldn't find it. Seems to be a scam. No one answered the phone either. Had already booked and paid it but needed to find a different solution in the end. Paid much more though. Very frustrating, don't go!

Not recommended, place is incorrect in google map. This is not hotel just a scam place, looting money with some north Indian boys in reception. Location hard to reach due to incorrect info in Google.

A big NO to people who ever having a thought of staying in this hotel. I booked(December 2023) the hotel room for single person for 3 nights which end us costs me around 1600 in OYO app. When i landed, the guy who is sitting on reception asked me to pay rs 2400, and he argued that if I have to complaint this with Oyo Customer care they will give me cheap and worst room. I couldn't do much without accepting the offer, but those 3 days I was very very frustrated. No clean room AC not working Geyser not working Floor smells like public toilet Reception guy is purely an as**#ole. Finally they are expecting me not to complaint infront of other customers so that they will get bad name... So better dont fall for this scam... Check out the photos attached for reference

LOCATION IS INCORRECT on Google map. Oyo map is showing another location. Even though I had booked online. And confirmed availability of room in the evening. They denied room when I checked in at mid night. Saying rooms are full. Oyo customer care is ridiculous. Hilarious.

We have to give ZERO rating to it. One of the worst places to stay at. He wants business from OYO but he is wants that percentage from customer. My experience was that I booked the hotel from OYO. After visiting the property he says to pay extra the reason is OYO takes more percentage so he wants to recover from customer. Coming to AC room, he has AC fit in all rooms but none of them works. They do not fill gas in the AC.They charge you extra for AC. The AC just runs but it does not work. It is completely spam OYO. Oyo is loosing reputation because of such properties .Jayaram Hotels is the chain of hotels. One of the worst hotels i have ever seen in my life. Moreover in Chennai my personal experience there is lot of scam regarding hotels and rooms. So before giving money kindly check multiple times. No concept of returning the advances etc. Hope you have a happy stay unlike mine.

Worst approaching, after i have and done the payment they denied to checkin room. No proper response. I dont know why OYO supporting this kind properties No 1 cheating property
