Hotel O Grand Residency

I booked the room through OYO . When I went there , there was no hotel named Grand Residency. It was Hotel O Yash inn. You can check this location and check the map too, there will be two hotels in the same location. This is a scam . Do not book hotel in Grand Residency, when I come for checking in first they accepted it as Grand Residency and later , when I showed the oyobookings and ask for the room , they ask to pay 1000 extra . So if we ask more , they again tell that , this is Yash not Grand Residency. Contacted the customer support of OYO and no proper response from there too. If u want room , come here ready to pay 1500 or else don't trust OYO and come here.

Very worst..! House cleaning, bathroom looks like a public toilet very bad smell, location was so outer to city not at all a safety place to stay . I felt so unsecured during the stay..! During online booking they mentioned 650 when i came to check-in they said it's 1500 . So worst

The worst experience in my life, I made the biggest mistake of my life to book this hotel! I booked this hotel through redbus app for 485rs + gst and the app clearly said that this price is for 1 night, but when I went to the hotel for checking, The reception guy was asking me 1000rs more, I said I've already paid for the room but he said that amount for only for reservation, I had to wait 3hrs in the reception hall and had to talk with 2 customer care services provided by the red bus app, they were going back and forth. To be honest, I came to chennai to enjoy the view, the culture and the people but this experience made the trip the worst day of my life. The reception guy finally let me check in because the owner must've called him and told him to give me room since the customer care talked to the owners, I was so relieved, but the reception guy asked me to pay atleast 200rs more, I had to give him since I was so tired!! And you can see the room condition in the pictures, its just too dirty and no ac and also no shower head!!

Room was clean but in washroom geyser was not working . Also the staff at reception was unable to guide me to the hotel . I think he was also newly joined.

Don't ever prefer this hotel to stay. I stayed here on August 14th 2024 at Non AC room which they charged 800 and felt like I had never seen this kind of room in my life. The room is very very worst there was a bad smell it's like a third rated mansion , dirty room & bathroom and worst room service. Oyo is doing the worst service, the trick they will say is early check-in available and make us go to the hotel but the manager will not accept that Oyo bookings are not available for early check-in. So at that time we couldn't search and go to another hotel that's their trick. I will give 0 rating but there is no option so I gave 1. The good thing is I stayed alone to go to the TCS office. I can't imagine with a family/friends stay . Instead we can stay at a mansion which will be very good compared to this hotel.

Fraud people, my complaint -Oyo prices shown as Rs.627 but collected more than shown as Rs.800(online transferred). Receipt not given by the manager, even he told us to leave hotel, we don't because of luggage etc. we have not taken any other thing than a room, one water bottle and small body soaps given as complimentary.

Worst experience I have ever had. Stay there for one night, I was asked for extra 1500 for check in beside booking from oyo. Bedsheets were unchanged, had hair on it. Floor was not even sweeped. Bathroom was like public toilet, broken faucet, toilet had no lid, bad odour, cow dung all over the entrance, basically a bhoot bungalow. It is totally a SCAM. Pics are fake. Hope necessary actions are taken on the hotel.

Demanded more money. Money minded people. Bad staffs behaviour. Not a fit for family..Nothing is good.Staffs are not friendly. Demanding more money for the stay. They started creating drama from the morning like transformer burnt and told me to cancel my bookings. After all the dramas, they asked me to come and stay. I booked totally 5 rooms for my family to attend wedding near by this hotel. But, they only allotted me 2 rooms asking original ID proofs for the children. Then I was asked more money to get another room. I got the 3rd room after I paid Rs.1500 for the room.nnAir conditioner was not working in all the 3 rooms I and my family stayed. Shower was damaged. Western toilet seat got damaged. Staffs are not easy going. Uncleaned pillow covers. The hotel manager and the owner of the property demanded more money even they know all these facilities are no good. I suggest booking.com not to suggest this property as they will spoil your name. Money minded people running this property. It was one the worst stay I ever experienced. nnLast, this property is not a fit for family.
