Hotel Mount Manor

Horrible hotel, with the lowest standard of hospitality I have ever seen, I have guests over and they ask them to pay if they are visiting over more than half an hour. I ask for cutlery cause my friends family has sent me some homemade food and they say the hotel does NOT provide cutlery or plates for outside food, any standard hotel in Chennai would provide for their guests. Ridiculous hotel. I hope the owner understands to educate and change the outrageous policies considering he or she spent a lot to renovate or this place won't last long.

One of the best properties near Chennai Airport. The rooms, lobby and restaurant were luxurious and elegant. The service was so good. Breakfast was amazingly delicious. I stayed there with my family and we enjoyed our stay to the fullest. Room rates are very reasonable.

Worst hotel ever in India, untidy rooms, WiFi speed 5mbps, mosquitoes, untidy towels, bedsheets, quilts and they charge 53 ruppes for a waterbottle just like a cheap lodging and boarding, don't get fooled by its exterior and 3 stars. Not to forget the nothing is sound proof so you will constantly here flights taking off and landing and road traffice as it is very close to the airport and the main road. Wish to rate it 0 if I had an option

The rooms are standard and the bed clean, but the bathroom/shower had issues. Water took 10 minutes to get hot and the bottom edge of the shower door cut my foot (because it was loose). The AC in the room looked to be 20 years old and didn't work properly. The bigger issue was the service. The front desk was dealing with multiple complaints at once- all stemming from miscommunication. The front desk did not properly explain its guest policy and only at the end of the stay insisted payment. They were quite rude and inflexible. Will not be coming back and I suggest you don't as well.

Subject: Feedback on Hotel Experience * The only advantage of this hotel is its proximity to the airport. Beyond that, the experience was mediocre and overpriced. * The room was very small, and the quality of the blanket, towels, and mattress was subpar. The items felt sticky and uncomfortable. * The electric kettle was unclean and had a foul smell. * We booked a twin-sharing room, but only one bottle of water was provided per day for two people. When we requested more water, we were informed that it would cost 50 + GST. Despite agreeing, the water was not delivered even after follow-ups. This left us thirsty, and we ended up boiling and drinking water from the washroom tap at midnight. * When we requested an iron, we were told it was not in service. * On one occasion, my roommate was asleep, and I returned late. I asked for an extra key but was told no additional keys were available, and no assistance was offered.The staff was unhelpful and stubborn. * Overall, the customer service was extremely poor, and the entire experience was disappointing.

It's my third time checking in here. Though I had a very bad experience the first time, this time they improved a lot! It's very near to the airport. The only drawback is they got to really clean the room well before allowing for guest to checkin. I understand there are some construction going on. Obviously it will be dusty. So they got to constantly clean the place or at least clean it before the guests arrives to check in. There are also flies at the dine in area. Otherwise, their service and room are really good.

Comfortable stay at this city hotel while we attended a conference in Radiology at Chennai city centre |It was convenient room though not very sophisticated.|They cleaned the room everyday and provided us with enough water and fairly stuff|Restaurant was very reasonable good quality food even delivered to the room very fast at our request

Bahavior of staff is not good. Even they are not aware that who are their guest after check in and behave like we are thief. They are rude and inflexible. Sleeping was like hell. Constant train noise, flights flying closely and the constant heavy traffic.
