Hotel Kamar Residences and Banquets

This is an excellent hotel and very centrally located on East Coast Rd. The hotel rooms are very clean. Many have lovely terraces and the beds are excellent with fresh sheets cleaned thoroughly every day. The hotel deliver a delicious breakfast to your room and the chapatis are the best I ever tasted. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and cannot wait to go back.

Good room and bathrooms. Most of electrical outlets in the room don't work so prepare to be frustrated. Seems likely they have been non functioning for a while and they won't fix it. The electrical switching systems needs an engineering degree to figure out.

Nice place to stay and it is furnished and air conditioned single, double and triple bedrooms are available. It is one of the best Hotel I have visited.party hall is compact and suitable for small gatherings.

Its clean, each floor have 3 appt. Each appt have 3 rooms, one common space including living dinning open kitchen. The common area is accessible to all 3 room people. good staffs, mostly from bengal. They can speak tamil, english and bengali. Good location. Doesn't feel shady. Family friendly. Have room service food, no dinning. Have multiple restaurants nearby. Overall recommended.

Myself and my cousin sister (both are female) checked in the night 11.30pm from bangalore to chennai. Room was quite good but there was no hot water . We highlighted and room service ppl came and told that it will be fixed in 10 mins. But the issue was not resolved till 1:30am and 2 to 3 persons are keep on coming and checking. We asked them to change the room atleast as it's late night but they didn't even listen to us .We are already so tired due to traveling and we have to refresh and also start early at 7am . These hotel ppl never understand our situation and simply made us fools as hot water will come in another few mins and wasted nearly 10 to 15 buckets of water. From 11:30pm to 1:30am the issue was not resolved .We both are totally fed up and requested to refund our money back when they confirmed that it's technical issue with solar system and hot water is not coming in any of the rooms. Manager who spoke to me said that money will not be refunded which shows that they are not accepting their mistake. Don't even know how to respect women. By 1:30am We both were checked out and not even a 50% of amount has been refunded. We lost money finally. Hotel ppl should learn how to respect women first . They didn't bother about our safety at that time . Will they do this to their mother and sisters? Worst ppl and unprofessional.Never choose such money MInded hotels and lose your money and peace. HIGHLY Dissapointed with this hotel management .

Not worth for money. I booked deluxe room for two days (Rs 8400). But the room looks like appartment room. No clean towels in bathroom.

The rooms were kept neatly and the bathroom was spacious as well. All amenities provided and the help desk was responsive and tended to me all times. There are numerous outlets around the hotel including supermarket right beside the building which makes it really convenient to buy your supplies. There's a salon, gym as well right out the hotel . As i said, super convenient and comfy. Feels like home :)

We Book this hotel yesterday,,We are traveling all way from Bangalore to Chennai.. we reached the hotel by nearly 11:30pm. Room is ok but there is no Hot water. We informed to respective person regarding this they said it will come in ten mins and we waited for 1hr 30 mins.. we both are females and for checking the water males are keep on coming one by one to our room at 1:30am. They said no room available and they can't rectify the water issues also how can we wait for the water to take a bath. But so many room are available. They didn't change our room also and mid night 1:45am we both female came out from the hotel... They didn't give our money also. They said we can't Refund the money.. Not Safety for Women. If you people don't have a enough amenities to provide then why you are keeping a hotel.Just to take money from people like us. Worst Experience and first time we are facing this issue.
