Travelled as family with 2 kids. We had booked a Superior room in Hotel Chandra Park through a phone call. Once we reached the hotel by 8am, we wanted to check the room and since we were travelling with 2 kids, requested for a bigger room and finally checked into Executive Deluxe Room (No.4001).|Positives -|1. The manager at the front desk Mr. Narasimhan was very accommodative to upgrade our room with reasonable tariff and ensure the cleaning is done quickly so that we can check-in without delays. Also, allowed us to have a nibble of the breakfast before checking -in.|2. Room was centrally air-conditioned and an additional cot with mattress was provided. Toiletries were available. Ample space to place all the luggage comfortably and the closet was considerably extensive as well.|3. Hotel is centrally located which is the biggest plus point exactly opposite to Egmore railway station and probably 2 kms from Central. All prominent veg hotels like Saravana Bhavan, Sangeetha's, Vasantha Bhavan are located in close proximity as also was Buhari hotel, Chennai Rawther and lots of snack/tea joints nearby.|4. 24 hr check-in/check-out feature available which was the primary reason to book this hotel. Check-in and check-out was seamless and all done in a jiffy.||Negatives - |1. Breakfast buffet options was minimal. The spread could be better and can start bit early.

Rooms are not sound proofed. Bathroom taps are leaking. The leg room between the wall and the commode is narrow. If we adjust with these negatives and consider the location, the breakfast then this hotel is worth the reasonable price they charge.
Dear Chandra Park Hotel Management, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share my concerns regarding my recent stay at your property, which, unfortunately, was marked by several issues that I've experienced during my past visits as well. As a fellow hotel manager, I understand the challenges the hospitality industry faces, but the following issues have raised significant concerns that I would like to bring to your attention in hopes of resolving them for future stays. Room Reservation Issues: Despite having booked 2 double rooms in advance, the room I was initially given was not the one I had reserved. I was informed that the room was full and that my reservation was not being honoured. This resulted in having to adjust with others in the same room. Additionally, I was told the room would be changed later in the evening, but this situation was not communicated effectively. This issue has occurred in previous stays as well, and I would like to request more reliable management of room assignments moving forward. Lack of Reservation Voucher: I was not provided with a reservation voucher containing the full details of my stay, including the amount, check-in frequency, and other essential information. The absence of such a voucher led to confusion when checking out, as the correct payment amount was not clearly communicated at check-in. A reservation voucher would help ensure the correct amount is shown and prevent discrepancies. Unprofessional Staff Behaviour: Unfortunately, I also encountered unprofessional behaviour from both male and female staff members. Clear communication, courtesy, and professionalism are essential in this industry, and it was disappointing to see that these standards were not upheld. I believe this issue could be addressed through staff training and better management. Overall Experience: The location of the hotel is ideal, and I have always appreciated the facilities. However, the lack of proper communication and the recurring issues with reservations and billing have left me feeling dissatisfied. As a regular guest and fellow hotel manager, I would expect higher standards of service. I sincerely hope that you will take these concerns seriously and implement improvements to avoid these issues in the future. Given my experience in the industry, I believe these problems can be resolved with the right attention and adjustments to your staff training and communication procedures. This is an outdated hotel without any renovation or maintenance. I'm baffled as to how they claim to be a 3-star hotel. But, we can its 2 star hotel. Furthermore, if you request an extra towel, they question you. I booked this hotel through (MMT) using the 'pay at hotel' option. Upon check-in, they casually stated that all rooms were full, and surprisingly, they were unaware of my online advance booking. After some arguments, they finally allotted me a room after an hour. I entered the room with expectations based on their photos, but the reality was disappointing. The walls were stained, and the bed was in a broken condition. The bathrooms lacked proper ventilation. However, I stayed at this hotel for just one day for official station work, so I managed with their poor room. My suggestion is that if they cannot properly manage online bookings, they should be removed from online booking websites. Guests are the ones who suffer as a result. For Rs. 2100, such a small room in poor condition is not worth it.
Many different people are attending the call and different information are passed. Also no response when Room booking request is sent even after a month. Also they dont have any options to book through other apps. Only call. When we called 1 month prior to book room they said to book 2 days before that is fine coz its an off season. When we called 2 days before they said all the rooms are booked in bulk. No available. Prefering this hotel particularly and waiting for a month to book rooms listening to their advice was the one big bad choice we taken.

This is an urban hotel located in Egmore , Chennai. Hotel is conveniently located in front of Egmore station. Hotel serves breakfast. There is an in-house restaurant. Staff is friendly.
Recently, the attitude of the receptionists changed. Don't choose this hotel unless you want to stay near egmore railway station.
