Holiday Inn Chennai Omr It Expressway by IHG

It was an Acceptable stay at the Holiday Inn. Travelled with my Dad for Medical treatment so the location was right next to the hospital. Service was welcoming & warm. Few people to mention are Rohit & George at the restaurant who were very attentive. Breakfast buffet had a lovely spread. The rooms were spacious , however the HouseKeeping was appalling. Witnessed them taking the used cups to the toilets , rinsing & towel drying them and placing them back. Not expecting that. It was neat but not the cleanest.

The experience has been very fulfilling. Sandeep and Rohit from the hospitality division have taken great care of us. The rooms are spacious, the food has variety and spread. My daughter has a great time too and she got a toy as well as a gift from the hotel! Truly amazing experience! Definitely recommend

We booked the meeting hall for 2 days. The service in the hall was very good. Everyone in the team loved the food. The timing, choices, spread and taste were fantastic. The hall condition and the amenities access were also good. The service at the reception, the initial experience of going back and forth with the contracts were shockingly mediocre. There is no clear communication between the employees at the front desk. One follows up on the payment without even sending the invoice. Another follows up again without knowing that it was already paid. These are offputting especially if you are looking for a professional seamless experience.

I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Chennai, and everything ran smoothly from the moment I arrived. Check-in was quick and efficient, with the front desk staff going out of their way to assist me--even helping arrange transportation to the IPL finals, which was a highlight of my trip. Their helpful attitude really set the tone for a positive experience. The buffet restaurant at the hotel deserves a special mention--excellent variety, fresh options, and flavorful dishes that made every meal enjoyable. The rooms were decent, clean, and well-kept, providing a comfortable space to relax after a busy day. While not overly luxurious, they offered everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The combination of warm hospitality, convenient location, and solid amenities makes the Holiday Inn Chennai a reliable choice for both business and leisure travelers. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

We went in for a Saturday lunch buffet. We all totally loved the food, ambience and service. The team was very hospitable to us and was keep on checking if needed anything which was a great thing. Food was amazing. Pros: I loved their chicken biryani which was lip smacking. Options were equal to veg and non veg that's a good thing. Their live counter was really good. They had a live counter for stir fried vegetables and they were customizing our preference too. Salads was really good Cons: One big disappointment was While booking the slot we saw the buffet opens by 12 so we booked the first slot to avoid crowd but when we went in they said we'll open by 12.30 so we had to wait till 12.40. And They don't have any South Indian curries in their spread that was disappointing. Veg minestrone soup was tasting like ketchup with vegetables on it. Deserts were not impressive. Lower than average. Can add more new varities. For beverages only buttermilk and a drink mixed with essence was there which is not a great choice. Could have added some fresh juices to it Special mention to Rohit, sibassish, Iqbal, suraj . They have taken care of us very well

Sandeep was amazingly poised and groomed. His hospitality and dedication towards his work is outstanding. He maintained a professional yet caring attitude towards me and I can't me anymore thankful to him. He noticed that I was done with my meal, immediately He came and helped me with water and strawberry milk shake. Thanku so much Sandeep. I was amazing interacting with u today. You truly made my day!!!!

We stayed in Holiday Inn the second time only because of how welcoming one staff and his team was- Rohit at the restaurant. He goes over and beyond what is required - customer delight is what he is an expert at! |There were issues in the room - which were dealt with promptly by Satish - however if all the different teams had the same attention to detail and professionalism as Rohit - I don't think there will be any issues.
