Hablis Hotel - Wedding Reception Review We recently booked Hablis Hotel for our wedding reception (post a temple wedding), and it turned out to be a great choice. We also reserved rooms to freshen up before the event, and they were semi-luxurious with all necessary facilities you'd expect from a 5-star hotel. Pros: * The food was absolutely delicious -- a standout feature. * The staff were courteous and service was smooth throughout our stay and the event. * Ample car parking, which is a huge plus in the city. * Prime location with easy access from major routes. * The reception arrangements were handled very well and met our expectations. Cons: * The lift system is oddly numbered and confusing for most guests. * The elevator doors tend to close too quickly, often before all guests can step in -- causing minor collisions if someone's standing in the way. Overall, despite the minor issue with the lifts, the experience was pleasant and memorable. A reliable venue for events and short stays.

We recently hosted a reception at Hablis Hotel, and the entire experience was exceptional. A special thanks to Samudhra Decors for their stunning decoration work. They perfectly replicated the setup we shared as a reference image. The ambiance created by their decor added elegance and charm to the event. Overall, it was a seamless and delightful experience. Highly recommend both the venue and the decorator for any special occasion!

Right from stepping into the hotel till check out there is not a single thing I can appreciate about this property. I have no idea how can they claim to be a 5 star hotel. Check in horrible. Room horrible and unclean. In room dining you can order only items they want you to order. Breakfast was disappointing. Final invoice needs to be asked to be printed. There was absolutely nothing worthy about this hotel. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!

EDIT: Swimming pool appears no longer available to guests The room were sufficiently sized, pretty and clean. I was put at room 800 which had a beautiful Panaromic view of the city and flights landing. Room service was great, morning breakfast service were mixed, some waiters were actually so kind and some waiters were probably pissed due to a crowded nature of the breakfast around 9:30 - 10 am that they dint even acknowledge to a simple conversation. Location is bang on in Guindy and also has a CCD nearby but! At night when I wanted to enter the hotel, many giant private busses are parked outside blocking the view of the entrance itself, I had to cross the bus and then Tokyo drift to get into the hotel . The valet also needs some improvements.

It was a wonderful experience last time but this time it was a ok ok experience. The stay was a bit costly, food as always it was amazing. But this time the response from the backend or technical service was bit delayed we were informing them to come and check our tv from afternoon but they came only night by 8:30 pm so that was a sort of annoying for us. Room service was good immediate response from them. They found and handed over my missed charger these experiences were really nice. Overall it was a ok kinda experience.

Our short stay in this hotel made us feel comfortable by the staff. Our journey to the hotel was not a smooth sailing. We requested to be picked up from the airport. After initial hiccups at the airport with the pickup car, the hotel has extended their hospitality and were apologetic of the driver's behaviour.|Ms. Janani in particular waived off our pickup and drop off charges to the airport. They said it was a courtesy from the hotel.|They offered us nice room which was spacious but it smell bit musty.||Breakfast and dinner was just awesome and the staff in the restaurant were always ready to help.

The hotel is highly recommendable. The staffs make is so much better with their friendliness, always willing to go the extra mile in assisting with anything you would require, including information about how to manage and navigate within Chennai. They are professional, honest, welcoming, and heart warming individuals that deserves the best in life. The food gives you the true definition of the culture and taste of the Indian cuisine.|Special shout out to Mr. Raj, Deven, and Nissi, amongst other staffs that were very helpful during my stay.

Actually we have booked for an Alumni meet up. The hall and ambience was good. Each and every dish was good in the menu. We had a good service from the management too.||Following things shall be improvised, the speaker and Bluetooth connection could have been better. And also AC was not sufficient for the crowd.
