H Hotel Chennai

Decent and safe place - true value for money. Even if you are a solo traveler, with can choose this place with out any second thoughts. Restaurant serves quality local cuisine. But, reception takes long time (25 -30 min) to send simple things like towel, or hair dryer or for any maintenance. Cleanliness in the room is 3.5 on 5. Totally recommend if you can adjust on little things.

No words to describe what we went through at this hotel. Elevators don't work, had to carry bags to the 3rd floor. Ac does not work. Mosquitoes in the room. Windows don't close properly. Dirty bedsheets and stained bath towels. Breakfast they said was available on the 4th floor, but elevators don't work. Dining area was disgusting, dust everywhere. Poor service. It should be illegal to operate a hotel like this.

the overall stay experience at the hotel was pleasant . the service , the food , was top notch and Great experience with them. Had a good spread in their buffet also. They provide airport pick and drop also.Staff was extremely courteous and polite. The rooms were spacious and clean. In short very good experience with them. Will surely revisit them.. thank you

I had bad experience with restaurant & service. They promised for live counter, rabbit & duck but the booking staff & promising staff were on leave on the event day, so staffs on duty didn't care about the promises of the absent staffs & played blame game. This is first time I experienced that the waiters told the customers to stop the grill starters & to go for main course. (They couldn't supply enough starters for the advance booked 45 customers & 10 more other walk-in customers). Very slow arrangements & very very slow service. No smile, no welcome. A year back I had been few times to this hotel. Food & service was excellent. I don't know how they are going to survive in this review based & competitive world if they don't care about improving the quality of services.

I have been on a business trip and stayed in the hotel for two days @ room # 210, here is my experience 1. The keycard of the room did not work, had to call someone at reception to open the door not just once but every-time you step out and come back to your room. ( The reason given was the card decoder had a battery issue. Not sure how long it will take for a hotel like this to fix battery issue) 2. The Air Conditioner in the room automatically trips off after 15 mins of running, and there is no fan in the room. As I was out most of the time of a day, I realised it only during the night and i made several calls to reception to hear a response 'sir, we will look into this' and nothing was done Until 11 am next day, then I insisted to have change of room which they obliged. In addition to that the toilet flush also had problem. I'm sure the hotel management would have known about these issues before allotting the room but they were just reluctant to provide the best service to the customers even though the hotel was not full. The breakfast was good, the location is very close to teynampet metro and mount road. Lot of food options close-by and good location to stay and shop in t-nagar. I have given them one star as they allowed late checkout. Otherwise, for me it was a very bad experience and simply waste of money.

Wonderful Room with all the facilities. Staff are very helpful. Rates are very reasonable, they have a wide spread buffet in the breakfast. Special appreciation to Mr. Murali who helped in all the way during our stay. Property is located in heart of the city and very close to US embassy.

We were to a business meeting and found it good. Basic meeting halls neatly maintained. One will find it good for cheap price. The restroom should be big. Food is good for the price the hotel charges. Recommended for people who like to arrange business meetings for 75 to 100 people.

Poor restaurant and worst service. We throwed up my daughter's birthday party here and it was a big time flop. Food Service was extremely late most of my guests left even without having lunch. All my guests were very much disappointed with the was of service. My party was a complete mess because of these hotel guys. Please don't even think of hosting a party here. Please save your party as we were a victim to these guys.
