GT Grande Hotel-Near US Consulate & Singapore Consulate

We were familiar of 9 and wanted rooms. When asked the price of triple one room it was expensive when checked online it was 35 to 40 percent less. So decided to book while booking it was showing available the next second it was showing not available. Anyways asked him if he can help he said no online but I have rooms available without booking. So it was hot and we had a child as well so decided to pay as he asked for the full price. Upon getting the room ac is not good, no towels and toiletries. When asked, we don't have, let me check in other rooms and found a couple of towels which were torn and smelly. Very poor hygiene for the price we paid for one room 2500 rupees. No parking facility i had to park the car in somebody else's property. Over all very poor not at all welcoming. I am a traveller been around the world for 15 times into this business for 25 years.

Honestly, I did not know much about the place; an agent booked it for me. I continued staying there nonetheless because the staff was extremely helpful and well-mannered. The place has no restaurant or kitchen. Even so, Mr. Gangadharan and his team - Rajeshwari, Manohar and others made every effort to get us tea, milk, breakfast, meals.They provided us with a clean room with a comfortable bed with clean sheets. AC was working. So we could get a good night's sleep. Mr.Gangadharan made trips to the market to fulfill our few specific requests. He also helped with taxi booking for airport drop. I had left my id card at the counter by mistake. They arranged to send it on my address. Overall, they made things super-easy for us though they had very few resources. It is very rare to find such good-natured human beings who you can trust. They made us feel safe in an unknown city. On this count, I would rate them 10/10.

I recently stayed at GT Grande, and it was a highly unpleasant experience. The room was in terrible condition. The floors were sticky, and the washroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. I couldn't tell when it was last cleaned, as it was in such a poor state. The bedsheets were dirty, and the bed itself was uncomfortable, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the room had an awful smell, almost like sewage, which made it unbearable to stay in. The location is not suitable for family stays, and it's far from ideal for a comfortable and peaceful experience. The hotel staff showed us other rooms that appeared neat and clean, but the one we were given was nothing like the photos or what was promised. It felt like bait-and-switch tactics. I also noticed that many of the positive reviews online seem fake, as the hotel staff was constantly pushing guests to leave glowing feedback, which felt forced and disingenuous. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially for a family stay. There are much better options out there.

Overall experience is good. Nice rooms. Near to AG DMS metro station.

Here is the truth. It was a terrible experience. It is right next to a pub or club, very loud and raucous crowd outside jeering and shouting for many hours. Not a family friendly place at all. We checked in at 1 AM and left by 5 AM. It was that terrible.

One of the worst hotel, Not recommend for family and also not for alone. It's the worst hotel, everywhere there were cockroaches and mosquitoes. What the most worst thing is that the location and it's very scary like beside the hotel pub is there and u can't go out like after 10pm because of very bad locality.

Good rooms, Nice service, reception boy kalidass is good person nice handling boy all is good
