Ginger Chennai (Tharamani, IITM)

I don't even want to give Even single Star .Room 408 1.Horrible place 2.Ac Not working 3.Fan is noisy it can't used while sleeping 4.No hot water they will get only after 6 o'clock 5.Food after ordering they will get in 75mins 6.Food chicken65, salad ,plain rice Rs1100 even In 5star Bill won't be this much like this kind hotel 7. Card key very poor i went outside after im coming back I can't open the door reception person she try to activated again' an again still problem not solved security came and opened the door. 8.pillow very poor 9.bath room mirror door look like never cleaned.This hotel is so disappointed me.

We had confirm one night stay (30.03.25-31.03.25) with prepaid booking (Rs.4256/-) & clearly given the message our check in will be 31.03.25 - 6.30 am and check out will be the same day 12 - 2 pm. While we check in hotel at 7.30 am the reception girl |Ms. Baisakshi blindly ask for early check in charges even she didn't check our reservation instruction as well. After the too much of conversation she has given check in. They had very bad communication. The room was very small. Overall not value for money. Breakfast only it was good

Location is good, near by main bus stop and airport and railway station, I travelled solo, this is safe for solo female traveller. Hotel staff are very helpful. Breakfast is included is free and food are tasty. Rooms are very much neat and clean.

The room was smaller than the size of a bathroom. One could barely move around. The bathroom was even smaller. For a six footer like me, I just about managed a bath. My first visit in this hotel. Its a floor on the 11th of an IT park. I thought that at least the room would have a view, and so asked the lady at the counter if the room had a view. She said that there was a longish window and that's all. So with all eagerness opened the " Longish window" to see that it opens into the staircase of the IT park. For Rs 4000/- this room is a disgrace. You shouldn't pay anything more than 2500 for any rooms in this so called Ginger Pod Hotel. Actually its is a POD hotel. Only if you are completely on the road for want of a room, don't come to this POD hotel. Its a complete RIP OFF. |To reach this place you have to pass through numerous security guys who'll ask why on earth you are there. |Then there are used plates and glass all along the corridor and I was afraid I'll step on one.|Luckily I was able to reschedule my flight back and got out of this terrible place at 4 AM. So I only spent only 4 hours. Imagine my plight if I had to spend a day here.|For Rs 4000/- you can get much better rooms in Holiday Inn and Turaya. So please be aware of the condition of this Ginger POD hotel before you make a reservation. Avoid this like the plague.

Nice stay experience at Ginger. All Staff's are very humble and supportive. ||Love the food served at restaurant. My special thanks to Restaurant manager Nallu Das who always ensure food quality served with within reasonable time and with quality. ||Thanks a lot.

Ginger Chennai is a budget-friendly hotel offering a comfortable stay with essential amenities. The location is convenient, and the service is decent. Rooms are clean but could be better maintained. The dining options are basic. Overall, it's a good choice for business travelers and short stays at an affordable price.

Had booked a room though I checked in late room didn't had basic amenities like no telecom itself to communicate for service while checking things minifridge was not working water kettle was not working had to call from my phone on official number for waterbottles in mid night as mentioned room was not cleaned properly. Washroom bin had already used things in it it's like no one bothered to check that bin .horrible experience was staying in 301 .after mentioning this all things I felt that they didn't even care as while checking out I mentioned all this things but the person on fo desk seems uncovered as if it's normal for them any how we expect basic amenities and hygiene .had food in qmin ordered sandwich which was upto the mark. Hope they will work on that above mentioned thing

This is not the business centric hotel it was made out to be. The rooms were extremely small and very minimalistic. The bathrooms were not in the best shape. The towels and bed linen were old, discolored and worn out. Room service was basic - sandwiches or katti rolls. The rolls were decent. The service is top notch. They aim to please but sadly the organisation holds them back. The location is pathetic, they don't have an actual entrance (more like a back entrance) and the lobby is on the 11th floor! I would rate this place a glorified 2 stars. Definitely a hard pass for me next time.
