FabHotel The Fortune Inn - Hotel in Chromepet

This was by far the worst hotel stay I've ever had. Don't be fooled by the photos or promises - the reality is a complete disaster. First of all, the cleanliness was non-existent. The bathroom was filthy with stains and a terrible smell. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. The cot and bedsheets smelled awful, like they were never washed. I couldn't even sleep properly due to the stink. Maintenance was pathetic - everything from the lights to the taps felt broken or half-working. To make matters worse, there was no proper water supply in the bathroom. Sometimes there was no water at all, and other times it was just trickling. How do they expect guests to manage basic hygiene? The entire room smelled musty and unpleasant, and no amount of ventilation helped. We reported it, but there was zero response from the hotel staff. In fact, the service was nonexistent - no housekeeping, no one to attend to complaints, and no manager available. It felt like we were completely abandoned after check-in. Honestly, this felt like a scam. What we saw online and what we experienced were two completely different things. Do not book this hotel - you'll regret it. It's a waste of money and a test of your patience. Totally cheated and extremely disappointed!

The worst hotel that I have stayed in my entire lifetime. Stinky linen, stained pillow covers, stuffy rooms is what defines this property. The caretaker/person at the reception would be seen always busy on phone and least bothered to respond to your queries. On asking for bath towels, I was told there aren't any since all rooms are booked and remaining towels are at laundry. My question is if rooms are booked then why towels were placed in the rooms at checkin ? On asking this the person from somewhere got me a towel stating that laundry vendor yet to return towels. The towel given was stinking and did not even looked washed! People should never ever book this property by falling for price and pictures shown here!

Never book here through fabhotel website,but unfortunately you can't book this hotel otherwise.,hotel owner told they are no more in ties with fabhotels,but fabhotel websites showing otherwise.i lost my money because they didn't inform me prior as fabhotels not shared my contact to them,and vice versa,i couldn't contact to confirm my booking. what kind of management is this?. The customer care number given via email,watsapp was total useless/ cheating.Always busy.no reply to emails also.Hotel owner simply told that I have to fight myself to get a refund frm fabhotels,.Even after I was allotted room after paying in person,fabhotel app showing I was checked in on time through the booking made online.i was helpless in this,as the hotel owner could be partners with cheater fabhotels, collected both my money. Be aware,for your future stays in the name of fabhotels! Be ready to lose your hard earned money.

One of the best place in Chennai for stay.. everything is perfect there.. very clean and neat room friendly staffs

Recently I stayed in this property with my family. Really a good experience I had with this property. Good customer care service. Recommend to everyone.

Worst hotel I have ever seen in my life. So filthy bed sheets, pillows, bedding, towels. I immediately walked out of the premises and booked another hotel during midnight. Front desk staff showed four rooms, all them are so dirty. I don't even wanted to write review as I had to give at least one star. I wish I could have given -5 rating for this hotel. I have given a complaint on the same night and asked for refund. So far no one responded.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed. Room telephone was not working(no number provided for reception or room service). there was no remote to control the AC. Only 1 towel was provided after request. 2nd towel was unavailable since all are in laundry. Asked for plates and cutleries- was guided to take it from the store from second floor- took unwashed plates and washed by ourselves. There was no room service at all.

I booked it after seeing the rooms online but was disappointed after reaching the hotel so did not checkin and had to search for another room that night
