Horrible Experience - Nightmare at Collection O G Silver Near Chennai Airport||I had an absolute nightmare checking into this so-called Collection O G Silver Near Chennai Airport hotel, managed by OYOROOMs and I strongly advise everyone to AVOID this place at all costs. Here's exactly what happened:|1. False Pricing & Scam at Check-in|I booked this hotel through Booking.com, primarily because it was close to the airport, and I needed a few hours of rest between my international and domestic flights. My booking included AC and breakfast, and I had a confirmed price. However, upon arrival, the receptionist (a young guy, around 22 years old) bluntly told me that the price I booked at was a "glitch" and demanded more money.|After a heated argument, he reluctantly agreed to honor the Booking.com price but forced me to pay in cash instead of online. This itself seemed shady.|2. Disgusting Room - Lizard on Bed & Horrible Smell|The real horror began when I entered the first room (on the first floor). To my shock, there was a huge lizard lying on the bed, and the entire room had a terrible stench. It was so filthy that I couldn't even stay for 15 minutes. Furious, I went back to the reception and demanded another room.|3. Given Another Room - No AC & Hanging Wires|The receptionist initially refused, saying no rooms were available. But when I demanded a refund, he suddenly "found" another room (Room 405 on the ground floor). While this room didn't stink, the AC was unplugged, and exposed wires were hanging from it.|When I questioned him, he admitted that this room had NO AC, even though my booking clearly mentioned an air-conditioned room. I booked an AC room specifically because Chennai is extremely humid, and I'm from Bangalore, where the climate is much cooler.|4. Zero Customer Support - OYO & Hotel Blame Each Other|I immediately asked for a cancellation and refund, but the receptionist refused and told me to "call OYO customer care" instead. At 1 AM, exhausted after a long flight, I was left to deal with OYO's pathetic support instead of getting the rest I needed.|* I called OYO customer care, and after putting me on hold for ages, they said they would speak to the hotel and resolve the issue.|* I handed my phone to the receptionist, but he flatly refused to talk to them!|* OYO later told me they could only refund 50% of my money because I had paid in cash.|At this point, I was already exhausted, drenched in sweat due to the humidity, and completely frustrated. OYO wasted my time, the hotel staff was rude and unhelpful, and I ended up losing both my money and my precious rest time before my next flight.|Final Verdict: STAY AWAY!|This place is a total scam with:|* Dishonest staff trying to overcharge guests.|* Filthy, unhygienic rooms (lizards on the bed and stinking smell).|* No proper AC despite bookings stating otherwise.|* Zero customer support from both hotel and OYO.|If you're traveling late at night and expecting a decent place to rest, THIS IS NOT THE HOTEL FOR YOU. Avoid at all costs and book a reputed hotel instead.||I booked cab at 12.45 am from this hotel to airport and came back to spend next 3 hours on airport food court instead which was lot better place to sit.||OYO help desk agent was also pathetic...he didn't resolve the issue and not helping me to review the website on their OYOrooms website since my booking ID is not shown in OYO account as it says "error in fetching your bookings".

We reserved two rooms through OYO and traveled 27 kilometers from Perambur to reach this hotel. The price listed on OYO was lower, but the hotel staff rudely canceled our booking without any compassion and insisted on charging us more. As tourists, we were deeply disappointed by the terrible experience at this place. It's shocking how some people lack basic kindness and fail to consider that we had come from far away, deserving decent hospitality. I strongly won't advise staying at this hotel and suggest avoiding OYO altogether.

Booked this hotel through Oyo.. Worst experience from the hotel manager as he don't want to give room in oyo booked price. Room was so dirty. Television not available. A C not working properly. Even after complaining to oyo nothing changed.. Oyo is just promoting this hotels for money not for customers satisfaction. Thy can able to refund any money from hotel. Bcoz we have paid for ac, television etc. Thy are making as to talk with hotel manager in conference call..but after we go there manager is not treating g properly.. So don't lose money in oyo

Booked through Oyo, only to be informed by the Hotel receptionist that he can't accept oyo listed price stating that the price hasn't been revised yet. As I didn't have any other option I paid 1500 rupees for one day in this shitty hotel which was totally unacceptable and not worthy. Do not ever book this or just go near this hotel.

ITS A BIGGEST SCAM!!!!! SCAM!! SCAM!!! If i have a option to give them a negative stars I would have given the negative rating they are not worth of having one star also. I was travelling with my old mother and father from Kerala to Chennai Via train and we were reached chennai in the mid night at around 2 am and from the railways station itself I booked the hotel/room from the OYO application as their property showed the lower price as compared to other properties so I booked the property/hotel for 01 night from 18th January to 19th January and my booking was confirmed in the OYO application and in the application room tariff was shown as 672/- for one night , after confirmation of the booking in the application i called in the hotel regarding the confirmation of the room and i also enquired whether they will be giving checkin in this time or not and in response to this the staff of the hotel said they will provide us the check in , thereafter we proceed to the hotel and after reaching there they denied giving checkin in the hotel as they were saying that no booking was showing in their end . If we want to checkin in their hotel then we ll have to pay 1500/- as a walk in customer , i was having no other option i paid the amount and took the checkin at around 2 :00am for 18/1/25 to 19/1/25 ,and in the morning we went to the market for shopping and at the time we were in the market the staff of the hotel called me asking me checkout the room , in response to that I replied that today morning only i have taken the checkin by paying you 1500Rs , there after we reached the hotel and the receptionist told me that i hv to pay more 1500 /- otherwise i have to leave the room ,i was kept on repeating that i have already paid the tariff as u said for one day but they didn't listen to me and asked me to checkout the room . There after we were forced to check out the room even after taking the room tariff as told by them , the receptionist was very rude he has no manners how to talk with the customer and the old parents The owner of the hotel was also has supported the action of the receptionist and asked us to vacate the room or else we have to pay the Difference amount 1500. This is scam which they are doing with the customer by showing low price in the website and when we reached the hotel they charged the higher price . I urged the people to avoid this hotel from checkin i also urged the OYO, booking. Com , agoda to remove this property from their website. And shall legal action to be taken against the receptionist and the owner of the property,

Like everyone else stated, complete rip off. Booked for 2900 Rupees, wanted to check in at 0:30 and owner wanted me to pay 6000 Rupees. I had a look at the room, all dirty and cockroaches inside. Avoid this place if you don't want to get headaches!!!

They are only looking for money, they didn't accept oyo booking and gave a huge headache. They didn't mention any check out time before booking in person and collected 1 day rent for w hours. Worst attitude. Speak to them carefully!!

Very very unhygienic hotel I have ever seen. So many stains in bedsheet. BLOOD in bedsheet. Cockroaches. No lock for bathroom door. very dusty and pungent odour. They don't ever if we complaint and ask for change of bedsheet or room. Very worst service and he always sleeping and very dirty. CHARGED EXTRA THAN APP for this dirty room.
