Century Palace

Very decent place for the budget. Clean linens n toilets, ac fully functional, room clean n no damages. Morning tea at 7 breakfast at 8.

One of the worst expierence. Each day I saw cockroaches in my room. One day I saw a lizard. Drinking water was not supplyed daily, only on arriving. In shower there were hairs, dirty. Looks like room facility never were cleaned with chemicals. I asked to deliver breakfast on 9 a.m., just to have more sleep, so they delivered tea at 7:30 and breakfast at 9. Next day I complained, so delivered in good way, but one more next day was the same, tea 7:30, breakfast 9:00.... Dosa was delivered always cold. Strongly Not recommend.

I stayed there frequently over the last two years. The rooms were not clean, and all of them had very old ACs that were not working. The ACs provided less cooling and would stop at midnight. The staff did not change the pillow covers and claimed there were no stocks.

I have been staying in Century Palace for years. Whenever I visit Chennai, I move to this hotel straight from airport. Nice ambiance, clean rooms & clean washrooms, good staffs .... what else a boarder wants. In my recent visit on 12th April 2024, I checked in at 1 PM (as my flight was delayed) and they way the staffs welcomed was really awesome. I would recommend this hotel to all the visitors.

I stayed here for 3 days, and it's a satisfiable stay. Pros: * Rooms are neat and compact. * Service is extraordinary, whatever I asked they arranged immediately. * It is very near to OMR, so having fine accessibility. * Morning food is complement, and it is very nice. They offer idly, dosa and chappati. Cons: * Bed is very small, it would have been little bit wider. Even double bed is very small, and it's the case in all the rooms. * Toilets basin, floor are very clean, nothing to regret, but the handshower handle is very dirty, they could have clean it properly as that was the place we are going to touch. I am adding that in pic. * They are not good Neither in Tamil nor in English. They can understand but struggling to reply. Usually malayalies very good in Tamil. But here they are bit struggling. That could have been improved.

Its very near to Kanthanchavadi bus stop. Rooms are clean and also they provide complimentary breakfast. Room service is super-awesome. One suggestion is they can increase the grace hours to 2 hours(currently they provide 1 hour-> 24+1 )

One of the worst hotel i have stayed in. There were lots of bed bugs and no hot water. Phone doesnt work- have to always go down to get something. The front receptionist is the worst i have seen - when complained about hot water and bed bugs he says its common in chennai. I was like wow ! Just wow! He didnt give me a bill and made a scene for that as i was getting late for airport. On a whole a worst hotel. Dont even think of staying here.

Very basic accommodation. Rooms listed as deluxe on make my trip above regular rooms. But when booking happens it turns to a basic room without AC even. The rooms are not clean. , Toilet have non working taps, Rooms are dusty.. No ventilation In the room TV don't work. Giving 2 stars since the door is lockable and fan/lights are working
